For some reason this song popped in my mind and I couldn't get it out.
Brings me back to my childhood, good stuff.
After listening to this song again, something I never realized, he moves and sounds a bit like a cross between the Beach Boys and Buddy Holly.

i saw the austin city gig too...holy cow...did you get goose bumps when he sang "Whats so funny" or what!!!???!?! Awesome...just like most Austin City Limits. Sometimes wierd acts, but good musicians.

I live in Austin. It takes an "Act of God' to get tickets to an ACL show. We won some on the radio and saw Josh Stone. That was cool.

I saw Nick Lowe on Austin City's Limits last night 1/31/09. Needed to reconnect. I like how the video 'shared' personal life (marriage) with song.
His wife in the video was his real life wife Carlene Carter then. What a lucky guy!

Why Eight Strings on a Bass?

Each of the four strings on the bass has a sympathetic string playing one octave above the original note, same as a 12 string guitar.
