  • SOMETIMES, I THOUGHT DON CHEADLE RESEMBLED GARY PAYTON!!!

  • GP jersey needs put up in the New Stadium about to be built in Seattle.

  • @killsourenemy first of all, the word "tops" shouldn't be in quotes, because they ARE atop the West. Second of all, I agree guys like Collison and (very early) Durant did develop in Seattle. But the same can't be said for Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka, etc. all of whom started in OKC. And the city didn't do anything to deserve a team? How about the year and a half of immense support for the Hornets? You can call me a know-nothing and hate on the state all you want, but the team is here now. Sorry.

  • @mrstellerkeller7 Yeah man, he should definitely have his jersey hanging in Key Arena. Nowhere near a dusty old shithole.

  • It's really funny how pissed off and whiny all the Seattle fans are about the Thunder and Oklahoma in general, given that they're currently trying to steal the Kings from Sacramento.

  • @Aderbj maybe if you had showed up to a few games it would still be your team. Oh, and that "dipshit team" to which you're referring is currently tops in the West.

  • @feeheheenay They're "tops" in the west because of the draft picks Seattle drew and the player development done in Seattle. The team was ready to explode at the time they were stolen. OKC didn't do shit to deserve a winning team like that. Show up to a few games? Seattle has shown the sonics tremendous support for over 30 years. Low fan participation due to a losing season had nothing to do with the sonics being moved. Typical know nothing fan from buttfuck oklahoma.

  • he's twenty and he's going on twenty one!

  • Just to mute all discussion of OKC hanging GP's number he said he won't retire his number until Seattle gets a team back

  • He got fat

  • ahmad looks annoyed with gp this time.

  • @Aderbj yo! because Seattle is now OKC moron!.. why wouldn't they hang GP's jersey in the rafters?

  • @7patrickt Because he played for the Sonics, not the OKC Thunder. Get it right.

  • @FMAlchemistEdElric haha! IKR! GP PLAYED FOR SEATTLE WHICH IS NOW THE THUNDER BECAUSE THE LEAGUE AND DAVID STERN IS A DICTATOR, TOOK THE FRANCHISE FROM SEATTLE, THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE CHANGED THE NAME, I LIKED SEATTLE WHEN THEY STILL HAD RAY-RAY AND RASHARD. OHHHHH! WHAT A COMBO THAT WOULD BE IF THEY DIDN'T TRADE THOSE TWO.

    PEACE YA'LL! haha!

  • the video should be titled what the hell is he wearing

  • he talks like karl malone

  • Awesome video production, weak video

  • NBA TV needs to bring G.P. back, dude has a great personality on and off camera.

  • Pastor Peyton!!

  • Payton looks like a PIMP on his suite

  • words all taken out of context

  • good old Alonzo Mourning...one of my fav centers !

  • that suit screams out....PIMP....a gp is from the bay so he can do that.

  • I really miss the old times when C-Webb Amad and GP did NBA TV together. That was some good times.

  • What the Hell Did Gary Payton Just Say?

    lol

  • Payton's just drunk all the time.

  • wheres the hate button on this thing??

  • hahahah Payton is the man

  • @pimpSEAproductions You're fucking stupid. Why would you blame OKC when it's David Stern and the league that took the franchise away from Seattle?

  • because of a guard, who's got, who's not gonna be playing, the injured guard, but we're saying IF...and i-i-i to me, i think chris paul's gonna play

  • man wtf is this shit?

  • for get what is he saying..... wtf is he wearing???

  • seems ZO can fully understand what GP is talking about, or... just simply ommiting GP...

  • GP had a great career but he was absolutely awful on NBA TV from his commets to his clothes lmao

  • gary paytons a beast they should have have is jersey retired and put up in the rafters but he dosent want it to be hung up in oaklahomo city

  • yall need to do an episode called What the Hell is Gary Payton wearin?

  • this is funny as hell

  • gp wants his jersey in seattle not dusty old shithole like okc

  • seems clear... what's the joke?

  • @JAGADEY not all of us speak the gloves language man. that don't make a bit of sense to me. (granite it is taken out of context) i'm not dissin that's just hilarious. I'd love the popularity if i was GP. It's just like havin a group of haters. your still getting noticed. Your GP himself, aren't ya?

  • damn, my dude Gary Payton got fat? he was like 3% body fat... there's no hope for any of us (eats Krispy Kream).

  • Gp was really good but was just selfish as pg i mean as his years winded down in la he wouldnt come off the bench

  • That's why he's not in the NBA TV for this season anymore.

  • @alyomaya

He reminds me of that slick cat from the neighborhood that everyone likes, but don't trust. - The one that's always asking for a ride and talks crazy when drunk.

  • Soooooo, you don't understand English? Or what?

  • .......what a stupid ass video not funny, not insulting, whats ur motive here?

  • @cangelo1127 no motive, just an retard

  • @cangelo1127 it was funny idiot.

  • @cangelo1127 TO WASTE TIME

  • That was dumb.

  • wooow I see why they got rid of em

  • GP prolly wouldn't let okc hang his jersey in the rafters if they paid him.

  • lol gary payton thinkin hes tony montana

  • Dis mo'fo drunk ass hell!!!!!

  • For those saying he's overrated, not such a great scorer, let just remember that the guy was 9 time first defense team, won the defensive player of the year being a PG, and is the only player in NBA history to accumulate 20,000 points, 5,000 rebounds, 8,000 assists and 2,000 steals in a career

  • straight ghetto lookin like dmx lol.

  • LOL GP rockin' the butterfly collar

  • I love Chris Webber's facial reaction lmao he looks like will smith's partner in the movie called bad boys XD what's the G's name again? the black doug :D

    Martin Lawrence

  • i think hes drunk

  • gp isnt underrated lol. but he is definitely straight ghetto lol

  • GP is definitely from the Bay

  • GP doesn't really say anything he just opens his mouth and hopes for the best

  • @Nickolaslich lmao

  • @Nickolaslich

    LOL! GOOD ONE

  • It was a real treat to watch him back in the day with the Sonics back when the league was tougher.

  • someone get this guy back on nba tv

  • huh?

  • He's autistic. But that could lead to athletic intelligence.

  • GP has picked up about 20 pounds

  • I'm thinking GP kicked a few 12 ouncers back before the show!

  • I believe he said "if they wouldn't wanna fuck kobe in this car" but I ain't sure though

  • Comment removed

  • the music just makes it so much better

  • "but we said is bubba him? hands down! if they woulda wanna flip the car"

  • haha Chris Webber talks at the end and you can actually understand

  • think that was zo

  • that was ZO man

  • it was zo asshole.

  • what the hell is GP wearing?

  • i heard exactly wat he just said

  • you are not as funny as GP

  • GP is the best ever.

  • GP is so under-rated,everyone who knows a thing or two about basketball knows that he's an excellent defender and a great player. He deserves more than what he's been given. I mean, come on OKC Thunder I know you changed your team name and all but you have to put GP's jersey up in the rafters.

  • @ckl034 yeah but he's suuuuuuuuuuch an asshole at the same time, so it's fine. :)

  • @ckl034 According the wikipedia, Gary chose not to have his number hanging at OKC. He believed that most of his success happened in Seattle therefore, along with all the Supersonics' related glory trophies and such, his number shall remained in Seattle.

  • @ckl034 GP doesn'y want his jersey retired in OKC because he is waiting for the real thunder aka the seattle supersonics to get their team back.

  • @ckl034 yoo he doesn't want his number retired by OKC cus he never played there. Him and shawn kemp got offered by OKC to have their numbers retired and they said they only want their numbers retired with a Seattle ball club, where they both had their best parts of their careers.

  • @ckl034 Yeah I know what you mean I mean hes a 9 Time All-Star should be 10 but the 99 season there was no all-star team and 9 time all-defensive team (1st) record tied with michael jordan plus hes the only point guard to ever win Defensive player of the year. On top of all that in his prime he was a 20-22 points, 5 rebounds, 8-9 assists guy. And more than 2 steals as well. He has the most overall game out of any point guard in nba history. I hate how they always talk about kid and not payton!!

  • dude gary payton said him self he doesnt want his name up in there rafters he wants it in the sonicsrafters. fuk the thunder they stole my team and many other ppls team gary payton and shawn kemp was the best duo of all time

  • @ckl034 seattle will be back in the nba; it is just a matter of time. and when it's back, gp's number will be up IN SEATTLE, where it belongs. :)

  • @ckl034 real talk... everyone younger than 20 years old would not know more than what they can find on wikipedia and the internet on GP. He was one of the greats and watching him play in the 90's was a treat! His skill and passion for the game can't be duplicated with just stats. I was a huge Jordan fan!!!! But seeing GP and Kemp take the floor just brings that certain excitement that cant be explained.

  • he already said that he wouldnt allow his # 2 be retired anywhere else but in seattle

  • @ckl034

Agreed. I don't think that he's under-rated by anyone who's watched basketball for a while. The people who under-rate him are the same people who say that Lebron James is the greatest player of all time.

  • @vincentrich Yep. Remember, all the kids today who worship Lebron weren't old enough to see GP in his prime. He was easily in the top 3 during his era. Stockton, Kidd, GP. Then the next level down was Tim Hardaway, Rod Strickland, Kevin Johnson, Mark Jackson, Kenny Anderson. I know I'm forgetting someone else ..

  • @ckl034 but he doesnt want it up ther. he wants it up in Seattle where it belongs.

  • @ckl034 Bro, Gary Payton hates the Thunder with a passion, just like everyone in Seattle does. He's gone as far as saying he's going to take it to court if they try to retire his number...

If you love him so much, you'd know this...

  • @KenNorth917 Wow. All he was doing was showing GP love and you had to be an ass about it.

  • @ckl034 GP doesn't want his Jersey up in Oklahoma!

  • @ckl034

I don't think he's underrated at all...in fact he's overrated. He was a good to very good player during the mid 90s but he was never a great scorer or anything...and post kemp he became a complete chucker and wasn't very efficient at all in those early 00 years. Honestly he's a great defensive player, but Kidd is better at PG, and Pippen was screwed out of the DPOY award in 96 when Payton won it...he should have NEVER been DPOY...

  • @ckl034 I think GP has been hugely blessed and I bet he would agree.

  • @ckl034 GP doesnt want his number up in OKC, he said he's waiting for basketball to return to Seattle

  • Comment removed

  • @ckl034 he doesn't want OKC to retire his number. only Supersonics.

  • @ckl034 seattle won the lawsuit to keep all the sonics affiliation plus guys like payton and kemp would never betray seattle like that

  • @ckl034 Fuck that. Why would OKC put GP's number in the rafters? He played for Seattle, my fucking team, not some dipshit team in buttfuck Oklahoma. If they put his jersey in the rafters I will drive to Oklahoma and burn the stadium down.

  • @Aderbj Why would you dislike the guy. The OKC Thunder is the former Seatle Supersonics, they just change its name. And by the way, Gary Payton is the ONLY point guard to be awarded the Defensive Player Award. Thats really an awesome achievement. Do you agree?

  • @123rockstar2010 More than just a name change, new city, state arena. They still should have his jersey up, but would the fans really appreciate it? You know cause he did not play in that arena for those fans.

  • @123rockstar2010 When did I say I disliked Gary Payton? GP is one of my all time favorite players. What I'm saying is that he played for Seattle, not Oklahoma City. They don't deserve his jersey in the rafters. They can put Durant's up in 15 years.

  • @Aderbj

Right, so you'd rather them just not acknowledge their past and what Gary Payton did for their organization? Or maybe they could hang it up at the KeyArena so everyone can stare at it instead of watching the Seattle Storm

  • @Aderbj Just stfu u obviously don't know what ur talking about.

  • @Aderbj LMFAO buttfuck Oklahoma thats funny

  • @Aderbj And yet Seattle annually leads the country in suicides. And don't worry, none of us here give a shit about GP as it relates to the OKC Thunder. Hang his jersey up in raggedy ass Key Arena. You'll get no objection from me. And also, you won't do shit.

  • @Aderbj no you won't shut your mouth

  • @Aderbj Thankgod for the nba comin back to seattle. I wanna see that #20 and #40 up there

  • @ckl034 Gp doesn't want his jersey in OKC

  • @ckl034 LOL. How is a top 5 all time PG underrated you crack head.

  • @xs0ng Ya I know right, clearly someone not old enough to have seen him play

  • @ckl034 that wouldnt be fair for seattle

  • @ckl034 Gary Payton flat out refuses to go to OKC to get his number retired. He is true to the fans in Seattle. Gary Payton is the best Sonic of all-time!

  • @ckl034 Absolutely. In today's NBA GP would be all NBA defensive 1st team and could shut down any PG.

  • @DetroitBADBOYS123 Any decent point guard can't be shut down. Take your ignorant opinions and hang yourself.

  • @ArmoredFelix Not true and why is that ignorant.

  • @DetroitBADBOYS123 It is true, any decent PG is quick enough that you can't react. Talk to someone that's played in the league. That's why help defense is so important. I'm not saying Payton couldn't slow down any PG. But you said shut down...and decent PG can not be shut down. At the most they can be contained a bit. It's ignorant because you obviously haven't played on a high enough level to make those kind of statements. Hell even in high school, elite PG can not be shut down.

  • @ArmoredFelix Did u read my other comment.

  • @ArmoredFelix Maybe but I think you took that too literally. If he played today, I'm not saying everytime he stepped on the floor he's shutting down the opposing Point Guard. When I say shutting down I mean limiting points, assists, and steals to a degree but not completely erasing the opposing Point Guard as a non-factor. For you to think that is insane. You took the phrase "shut-down" to literally but I think Gary Payton is underrated and could have his way with more than half the PG.

  • @ArmoredFelix When I say shut down, ur taking it as he's a complete bust. No points, no nothing. Read my other comment about how your taking this to literally.

  • @DetroitBADBOYS123 Shut down means halving his production. A PG is so dependent on his teammates for his production that you can't shut him down. A good PG can always get his first step against any defender. Gary was a great defender. However he often times guarded the opposing shooting guard.

  • @ArmoredFelix Therefore, Gary Payton halts the production of the Point Guard and makes him give up to his teammates in order to score. You thought I was saying that GP makes the PG absolutely nothing. I'm talking that he contains his production. I don't know where you see something wrong.

  • @DetroitBADBOYS123 Well mainly I'm trolling, but a PG production is so much about facilitating things for his team mates. I'm saying even Payton couldn't keep a Marbury or Iverson out of the lane. The most he could do is shut down one wing so that the help defense knew where to go.

  • @ArmoredFelix I totally agree which is why I said in today's NBA. He didn't do in his day but just think about Gary Payton from '93-'99 and how big of a hassle he would be for PG today. I;m talking like the Rodney Stuckey's, Jrue Holiday, and the other Pg who don't quite know what defense really is.

  • @DetroitBADBOYS123 Well remember as well, 93-99 you could hand check. When they changed that it freed up the PG and allowed him to be come much more effective. If Gary Payton wasn't allowed to handcheck he wouldn't have been as good as he was. Back then you could shut just about anyone with handchecking.

  • @ArmoredFelix That's true, Defense in the NBA has changed so much. Gary Payton was that way. That is true. I never took that into consideration.

  • GP is dressed up like a pimp rollin the strip in his '74 El Dorado. Somebody get wardrobe up here.

  • moron.

  • fukkk u if u hate gp go suck on rondos dick

  • than u can go suck gp's dick faggot

  • no ur mum is already sucking mine u gay fuckkkkk go suck on celdicks dicks

  • Next time learn how to spell something before trashing on it. It's CELTICS you fucking uneducated moron.

  • lol apparently you didnt see what he did there. I'm a celtic fan but if you read closely it says cel dicks. Get it?

  • lmao!!!

  • f**k ya'll gp si tha best!!!!!!!

  • Payton is just a loudmouth who never won shit (don't give me that gravytrain shit).

  • no he dont

  • doesn't
