wow this was a pretty fucking good trailer... i could imagine vulture by the end of the film creating a black out throughout new york... and eventually you have this really scary battle for spiderman who is trying to fight vulture in complete darkness... like a vulture and its prey

I always thought Malkovich was going to own the role, but this vid confirms it. He not only looks like the comic book counterpart, but he's a great actor, once again showing how well respected the comic book genre is by veteran actors in film (thanks to the work of directors like Chris Nolan, Bryan Singer, Sam Raimi and Jon Favreau who really went out on a limb in making these films).

NEWSFLASH: Sam Raimi pulled out of Spider Man 4 because he said his objective was to focus on the upcoming WoW movie and couldn't hold on to release the new Spider Man film by next year. Tobey also got released from his contract. (Good, I couldn't stand him as Peter Parker).

Jamie Vanderbilt will make the new Spider Man's script instead with an all-new cast and story and the new Spider Man will make its debut on 2012.

Originally, SP4 was gonna be released next year but its release date is now up in the air due to plot clashes. Anne Hathaway was gonna play Black Cat but she's been dropped.
