Hate to say this given teh flood of appreciative comments, but Smith seems to be reacting very late, and when he sways out, his movements are very sudden because of that and very exaggerated. Easy to say sitting here as a viewer, i admit, but some other batsmen i have seen also on TV seemed to have quicker reflexes. But a very brave batsman indeed.
Hey robelinda2, many thanks man for all your cricket videos. You make the cricket lover's life worthwhile. Watching the present day cricket is boring to death. These videos are really awesome and incredible. Could see the real talent, real speed and the fearsome attitude of windies again in these videos. Miss you Legends.
This shows the amount of respect they gave Smith. The West Indies always targeted this man because he was the best player of fast bowling of his generation. Such a shame he was treated like shit by England Management.
Ian Bishop was one of my fave bowlers growing up! I think injury got the better of him?
Superb video.Bishop was an under-rated fast bowler. Pity his injuries made him turn to swing bowling. Would you happen to have videos of some of the lesser known Windies fast bowlers of the 70s-80s: Vanburn Holder, Wayne Daniel, Sylvester Clarke & Pat Patterson? I've heard that Clarke delivered a terrifying spell in Pakistan in 1980 on a placid Multan pitch.
The person who told you that probably added up Walsh's balls delivered in Tests, ODIs, First-Class, and List A matches. That gets you a total in excess of 146000. But, of course, Tests and ODIs are included under First-Class and List A, respectively, so he double-counted the balls delivered in Tests and ODIs.
Someone told me Walsh bowled in excess of 146000 balls in all forms of cricket. If that's right that's 24300 overs which if you say 90 overs a day is roughly 270 days of cricket bowling all day at both ends. Is that right or just a bit wanky?

"This is a nasty delivery, really cuts back, snakes in a long way
Oh yes, that is a fine nasty aggressive delivery, shooting up, cutting back"- Geoffrey Boycott.
Oh god don't you miss it, cricket when men were men

Classic fast bowling. Bish softened him up and Walsh finished him off. Robin Smith was tough as old boots though.
