To win if you suck, just keep putting into the middle row until it is full.

Then considering the board is only 7 long, if you control the middle, they can only do a diagonal at the middle section where they put one at.
Lets say you put 3 up the mid and they put the fourth. And you get the rest. They can only get the diagonal through the 4th spot, so block it. Then just keep blocking what they are doing, and eventually you'll win.
The secret is to establish one set of three and play the turns. OK I don't get it.... at 0:57 once you had the trap set in the middle row, why not just go ahead and move there to spring the trap? You didn't have to hold out till the end.
red had the odd row in the middle right below his trap, he had to wait until red moved in the middle first before he could stack him to spring the trap.
