No, it was nothing to do with the Headmaster/Nebulous thing. It was like a giant exo-suit(not a transformer) for a human...I think the Witwicky in the story was like "I can take him on my own...without help" and despite shooting shockwave in the eye, he is saved by another Autobot...I cannot remember who it was though.

Just found it! It was an issue called "Robot Buster". The autobots built a "battlesuit" for Buster Witwicky, and he does indeed battle Shockwave.

Totally forgot about that one!

What a let down TF3 was. They should have had Shockwave ousting Megatron (hence him being in Africa with Soundwave and Lazerbeak), then teaming up with Sentinel Prime. Starscream plays double-agent between Megatron and Shockwave, but he's rumbled by Soundwave. So, you have an eventual battle of unholy alliances Shockwave/Sentinel versus Megatron/Optimus. Plenty of character developement and action.

In Transformers DOTM he is the main villain, he supposedly kills without reason, He is also supposedly crueler than any other character, So, basically, he is awesome.

Shockwave is awesome! His fight with Megatron in issue 6 was the best one-on-one battle in the comics. He really carried the series in the early stories; only Shockwave could have replaced Megatron as Decepticon leader and defeated the Autobots in one shot!

I think Shockwave should go to the chop-shop & upgrade his arm. A gun for a hand is really rubish when you could just 'hold' a gun instead. He is my favourite transformer but his 'gun mode' & gun-arm are some of the worst transformer ideas ever haha! ^_^

This song fits Shockwave more than other songs I've heard so far. It is spartan, rhythmic, and controlled. The singer has a kind of bridled fury to his voice. Nice!

I don't know if that's true, since they said that with the second one on the same site. I'm not really a trusting person with wiki, but maybe this time he will be in the movie. If they do, I'm sure they will hopefully have him more like he is in the comics, since in the animated show in the 80's didn't give him the spotlight I think he should, if there even was a light. lol Anyway, if he is in the movie, Corey Burton MUST do his voice. No one else can do it but that man.

Shockwave is kinda like Shockblast from the Energon serios the only difference is the part of name and his attitude is not loyal to megatron anyways I always throught him to be a Satilite not an apache cause he has reflectors that are on his toy that folded out made him look like one.His Artillery cannon is cause his brother was supposed to be able to transform into that as his form but he never did in the episodes since they look exactly alike exept colors they put sixshots transform for him.

I really enjoyed his form in the Transformers The Game (PS2) as the huge gun base, whatever he was supposed to be. He was ENORMOUS!! I remember playing the level as Prime and Shockwave suddenly transformed and he was bigger than Prime! It was so awesome!! I loved it! ^^

I know plenty about Shockwave. He is my favorite of all the transformers. He has defeated the dinobots more then once by himself, and was the guardian of cybertron. He has had various part in the different series. He was even in the the orginal line up for the new movie. He is awsome.
