i bet only a few people in here know, that the wehrmacht was one of the most humanic armys of that time... they had the best relationship between corporals & officiers e.g. in the french army it would have been a scandal if both have had their lunch at the same place, while this was common in the wehrmacht.

there was a wehrmacht law too, which says that civilians must not be killed for heavy punishment and so on... finally it was the SS that made the crimes!
