@andrefederhen Na verdade havia mais de uma mãe nesse bando... elas pariam mais ou menos na mesma época e cuidavam juntas dos filhotes... cada fêmea paria mais ou menos uns 5 filhotes por vez...

For sure they don't live in the same cage... Well, actually they live in a vivarium and it has more than 1 meter. They have a lot of space to run, jump and dig, just like they do in the nature. I'm a veterinarian, specialized in Wild and Exotic Animals, so don't worry about them! They're in good hands.

Oh! I forgot to say! They were in the box just because a I was cleaning their vivarium and there are ONLY FEMALES! =D

Maybe you don't know shit about gerbils... In first place, they're inside the box cause I was cleaning their terrarium... And the gerbils that were in cages stayed there just for one weekend, until the real owners catch them back...

In second place, I'm really sure that I know more than you about any kind of animal, cause I'm a veterinarian!!!

Take it easy, I thougt i said "vegetarian" not "veterinarian", I'm from Sweden, so my English isn't the best, sorry for that.

But I still don't like that all of those gerbils are i the same box. They could fight, or they could mate, and unplaned babies could be worse then you'll might think.
