For Universal's Halloween Nights, I go on press night, where they give me a front of the line pass. Elsewhere I go on weeknights early in the season, when a front of the line pass is unnecessary because there are no crowds.

If memory serves, there are signs saying no flash photography or video lighting, so a camera with night-vision should be okay. But then sometimes they tell you to turn it off.

You could go its advised like you should be 18 because it has ALOT of Adult Material ALOT but it does not matter what your age is if you're 16 they'll let you in...HHN is aimed mostly for adults though...you'll hardly see any preteens like in Knotts which is good

I go opening night. The last two years, Universal Studios has had a press night the day HHN opens - usually the first Friday in October - so I go then.

Press night is the night they invite the press for free, hoping they'll do lots of coverage that encourages people to buy tickets.

As for whether they put a lot more into on opening night, the actors haven't had a month to get sick and tired of what they're doing, so there may be more enthusiasm. But also, not all the bugs have been worked out, so there might be mistakes that would be corrected later in the month.

I totally agree with you. I think they could have done something different with The Strangers characters because that movie is extremely scary on a realistic level and its theme can stand on its own without having to be thrown in a mix of a different horror genre. I've never been to HHN because I am from Nebraska, but have followed it by watching video clips on YouTube.

House of horrors was written off fro the start of the HHN 08, but we became most improved and alot of people have mentioned better than the other mazes that were there.

I got to work int he house of horrors during halloween horror nights. I had a great time, most of the park guests were in good moods and attitudes, of course you always get a jackasss in a crowd. I hope to work in the same character in the hous eof horrors next HHN. I love this video.

Since new line cinema owns the rights to jason, freddy kreuger and leatherface and because Warner Brothers JUST BOUGHT new line cinema, the "friday the 13th" maze, the "jason camp blood" maze and the "teaxas chainsaw massacre" maze WILL NOT be back next year. THREE ALL NEW MAZES NEXT YEAR! Also..

NEXT YEAR halloween horror nights USH is going to use the "Bloody Mary" theme orlando used this year.

They'll most likely be promoting the wolfman next year I would enjoy it if they exposed all the classics like Creature from the black lagoon but with their own seperate mazes

Yes exactly it would be very diverse rather then giving one specific Icon or Icons a maze then overloading them on the tram tour. Speaking of the tram tour I would love to see more done with the Bates Motel rather then the whole Frat party massacre but maybe a potential maze itself? If it was up to me I would place about two whole mazes in that backlot area the space is more then enough. Only thing that would be an obstacle is vandals and current film projects

That happens every night in Universal studios hollywoods' house of horrors, I've seen grown men running to the closest exit in panic and women breaking down and crying.

Hollywoods is a much better house of horrors than orlando hands down.

That probably happens in both parks. It probably isn't a matter which park is better, but the chicken level of the guests themselves.

But I do agree that Orlando's Halloween Night event should be better than Hollywood's. They have been doing it longer in consecutive years, and very little is recycled for the year 2008 in Orland.
