The Garn looks to have a feed system which seems and looks pigish!! I like the cob system better! More efficient from a wood consumption stand point! His log pile would only be a third of the size with a cob system as well as a cob unit has internal benefits as well!! You make a bench or a bed out these systems and at the same time with a little creativity make hot water and slow cooker oven in the bench as well!! Try and beat that Garn!!
