Townshend and Daltrey are the frontmen but even in this short clip you can hear how Entwistle created the structure that allowed them to shine. Everyone talks about how fast John could play and that was true but his sense of rhythm really gave their music a life force that was unique AND he made it look effortless. Irreplaceable!
