I just watched all 9 of these videos - magnificent! Great bassist, but wow, what a teacher! I just wish that we could see the sections that have been cut out when the students are playing - no matter how dire they might be. We get Ray's comments, but we don't get to hear the playing he is commenting on, which kind of lessens the impact of his instruction. How about it bass443? Could you post up the missing sections too, please?

Ray Brown was the master of the jazz bass and it is he who could touch your heart when he walked his line. All jazz bassist owed him for his talent and their inspiration.
