Great recording! Some people complain that many of the 20's bands phrase too stiffly... well that is both a matter of personal taste and interpretation. I say, think of them not as a jazz band, but rather a really good ragtime band and they will seem much hotter! Then again, I love when Roy Bargy's piano comes in behind the saxes from 1:17-2:02. He really kicks the band in the butt, musically, and gets them to swing more! One of my all-time favorite pianists!

This song really captures the feeling of the 20's. At least, for me. I wasn't alive in the 20's, so I wouldn't know for sure. :P

Not bad for accoustic. I guess Jazz was just coming in about then from Ragtime.....Al Jolson made this a hit I believe .....nice recording..
