@Helotes420 Wow. Glad to know that anyone that is Pro-Queer is on your Christmas list. I don't think a politician should worry about gay rights when the only reason we talk about them is because some politicians think it is the business of government. Ron Paul was right in criticizing how OBL was handled. Pakistan is reevaluating the Security partnership with the U.S. They will now purchase military aircraft from China and China is to build a new Harbor in the Indian Ocean. The Government is not pure evil, the Paul's would characterize it as Washington did, "Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.
How is the Patriot Act even patriotic? I think its more patriotic to go against Congress with something like the Patriot Act, much like what Sen. Rand Paul is doing.
Rand is the man! But why would anyone want a HUGE wasting monster of a government that NEVER gets anything right, borrowing and spending money hand over fist, especially when we are over 14 Trillion in debt? The Government fails with it's spending and redundant "programs". Yet it keeps voting itself higher budgets, pensions, more power, etc. All at the loss of our tax money and liberty. When the government fears the people, we have Liberty. When the people fear the government, we have tyranny.
Reid is a Lapel-Pin-Patriot .When a 1950 armed attack on Pres. Truman was foiled by policeman Leslie Coffelt, himself mortally wounded,the perp was arrested, charged with murder, tried in Federal court , sentenced to death, and jailed in Leavenworth. Two years later, Truman, commuted his sentence to life (he was later freed by another veteran, Carter. Congress, many of whom had seen service themselves did not panic, revoke the Bill of Rights, or invoke bogus "Patriot" Acts. No Guantanamo
When someone lowers themselves by insulting someone in an argument it means they have nothing else, no other recourse to turn to, to back up his argument. It also shows what kind of a person they really are. Mr. Reid can't be trusted or respected after making such a remark.
4 people are : 1 a bunch of fucktarded trolls that DONT understand waht is going on in America, 2 a bunch of o'zombie supporters, 3. palin and/or mccain fake paper politician suck up, or 4. a bunch of steroid pumping cops taht can't wait for decent congressmen like Rand and Ron paul to get screwed over so they can spread their power like in Indiana and Oklaham and Mississhitty. PISS OFF ALL OF YOU 4 GROUPS.. YOU CAN MOVE THE FUCKING BIG SANDBOX AND SEE HOW MANY RIGHTS YOU'LL HAVE THEN!!
@essie311 harry reid and nancy pelosi are BOTH FUCKING JOKES...they've been jacking off that giant statue of an owl they call Molech aka ( the devil) for too long in northern CA every late july in bohemian grove. " away dul care" = away with human care and rights" the masons are NOT who they used to be. please do your own research on this and sleep on it and decide what you believe. cheers and peace to you fellow human being. ron paul for presidnet...Andrew Napolitano ( if he ran) for VP
Harry Reid needs to be charge with treason! He is the largest epic fail ever to walk the halls of the U.S. Senate. I bet if the vote was re-canvassed in Nevada, it would 100% find thousands of illegals voted at the polls, under the cover of SEIU darkness.
i like paul rand so far, he seems to prefer thinking rationally instead of being sucked into the hype and propaganda being slung by many other politicians. i agree with him, no warrant = no entry.
He's right. He seems to have forgotten, however, it was a Republican president and legislature that created and enforced the Patriot Act. A Democrat who doesn't vote for it will be instantly branded a terrorist loving anti-American by Fox News and 9/10th of their esteemed Republican 'colleagues'.
Rand Paul is a statesman...plain, pure and simple.
"Slick" harry reid is a national embarrassment. I am ashamed to admit that I live in Nevada.
There will be a shout of Freedom such as the world has never heard...the day that SOB is removed from office. I prefer by force...followed by a short and speedy trial, with a lengthly incarceration for his usurpations of the Constitution and his absolute disregard forf his oath of office!
I am waiting: I am hoping someday a President/Rep/Senator would run on the platform of having no opinions themselves. I would love to see a candidate come to a rally and just ask his constituents "If you elect me, what do YOU want me to do?" Who cares what I want to accomplish, I'm there to represent YOUR will and defend YOUR constitutional rights.
I guess I want a legislator who is not just a lawyer, but who acts like MY lawyer, a people's advocate. I think that candidate would do well...
Ron Paul was right in criticizing how OBL was handled. Pakistan is reevaluating the Security partnership with the U.S. They will now purchase military aircraft from China and China is to build a new Harbor in the Indian Ocean. @chewbaca1989 Ron Paul stated that the correct way to get OBL was to place a mark on his head...when there was one for for over a decade....a ***50 MILLION DOLLAR*** one.
BTW, I love how you Paul supporters continue to quote the founding fathers after having been refuted to DEATH about each and every single one you pull out of your asses.
Quote Washington all you like, he impowered Hamilton's Federalists to allow DC to take over state debt, create the single monitary unit and federal bank.
Letters of Marque and Reprisal as used by the Congress to combat the Barbary pirates. 3.5 trillion for Osama's head sounds like a bargain. So when the next Terrorists strikes I guess, and they will, America will follow the same formula as OBL. Brilliant. Touche', a understanding of Hamilton, good.
@chewbaca1989 So, in order to defend Paul for stating there should have been a mark on OBLs head when there already was one, you state the total cost for killing him as if it somehow means anything?
OBL HAD a mark on his head before 9/11, he had a larger one after 9/11...not a single person tried to collect on it...not even capitalist scum like Blackwater, so called patriotic Americans who are kill for hire thugs.
BTW, nice dodge on the Washington quote...not suprised in the least.
Extrapolating ideas on a comment thread is difficult. States coining their own money at that time created a lack of confidence to be sure. The Hamiltonian model then and now, what are the pluses and what are the minuses. I feel strongly that with today's technology competing currencies would be best as the fiat system, the monopoly, historically fails. You seem like a bright fellow, Letters of Mark, would have been issued by Congress, they weren't war was unleashed OBL head 3.5 Trill
@chewbaca1989 Hello? The Hamiltonian model is what Paul argues against...
Having a single currency places all power with the central government that produces it. Having a central bank keeps power in Washington and having the power to take over state debt leaves no room to remove it from them....all came out of Hamiltons brain.
You, like Paul, are playing both sides against itself...which is the heart of the problem with Paul's rhetoric, its pure nonsense.
I understand that's what won out, yes. Which lead to enabling a Federal Reserve, now I understand that the Hamiltonian model is not perfect, neither would a Jacksonian brand be. But I firmly believe that competition in currencies, freedom of choice, not dictates on monopolistic Federal system which admittedly is Hamiltonian would suit Americans better. Being dismissive of something you won't wrap your head around seems sensible? Supporting a failed system appears nonsensical.
@chewbaca1989 The point is that there is NO SUCH THING AS A NON-FAILED SYSTEM. It doesnt exist because it CANNOT. People will ALWAYS find ways to screw it up, or work around what is in place to give them the advatage over someone else...which again points to Paul's faults in his rhetoric that Libertarianism is the be all end all. Remove the Federal monopoly which can be governed by LAW places the monopoly in the hands with those with MONEY creating a more power monarchy, corporatism.
To a large degree I would agree with you, the system is not failed. I will say that the Federal Reserve has failed to live up to it's stated reasons to exist. The monetary system should be Democratic, that is people ought to be able to be paid in what they value and trust. Legalize competition. Soon peoples lack of trust will collapse the monetary system. I'd rather be paid in Cigarettes than dollars today. I don't want the government making it illegal to buy Gold. That "LAW" is WONG.
@chewbaca1989 Thankfully there is no such law...and there cannot be.
Personally however I do think that any American that does buy gold is a traitor since he is actually helping to increase other nations currency over his own. A real patriot would be buying bonds and treasuries,otherwise known as his nations debt.
America instead has other nations buying their debt which indentures us to them,100% the fault of the people because its the people that stopped buying it over the last 40 years.
Gold has been outlawed before when the government started to counterfit. That is dictatorial and does not give individuals the freedom they disare. They steal money from hard working Americans who save and invest. A conscientious person seeing that the government is making mistakes would create a bulwark against inflation/counterfiting. How quickly "Patriots" are to call men yearning for liberty "Traitor". Freedom love leave it, I love it don't you?
Hording Gold against the law: For fucks sake if that's not outlawing owning gold I don't know how else to categorizing it. I want to horde gold, food, money, guns and your for having the Federal government dictating what the hell I do in my private life. Bravo, thank you for caring.
@chewbaca1989 You dont know what is because you dont know what the fuck words mean.
Hording gold and OWNING gold are not the same thing fucking idiot.
People like you argue both ends against itself.
No doubt, you believe the dollar should be back on the gold standard...the gold standard the order was PROTECTING so the dollar wouldnt collapse you fucking uneducated prick. Gold value towards currency only applies when the GOVERNMENT of the currency has it.
Hoarding is a characterization of ownership which is open to arbitrary interpretation. The dollar would not collapse if the government was responsible. Gold is valued not because of government but in spite of it's actions.
What weight of gold constitutes the dollar? Your smart one with a surly mouth. What amount of gold do we have in comparison to debt? Why would someone horde gold while the government prints and borrows? A gold coin the size of a dime buys two goats today as it did two thousand years ago. Gold will continue to rise in spite of what I don't know and what you clearly know that you know. Mash your teeth and curse all you want gold will skyrocket.
Brenton Woods was dissolved in 1971, you surly maggot. So you arguing that the currency is pegged to the dollar has no basis in today's economic reality of America. And you call folks like me traitorous when the government went along with financial interests to borrow and spend to no end. Fuck you, the economy will get worse and I'm gonna horde water, guns, and food. Asshole.
@chewbaca1989 Why are you still posting? Take your idiocy elsewhere..unless you are just another shill being paid by the Heritage Foundation to spread bullshit...
You see, you punk ass son of a bitch? Right? You shit all over yourself running your mouth about a Gold standard and you say government "HOLDS" a "CERTAIN" amount of gold, what that means only you can divine, to maintain it's monetary unit. You just fucked yourself. Fucking poo-but motherfucker. Ah, I feel so great.
@chewbaca1989 Again? You posted again? How many more times do you think you need to fail in the same thread? Whatever ground you were trying to defend was lost almost a week ago.
@rdrakken you little left $#%$. That's why there should be no federal laws! All socialists should flock to the socialist states, and people who want to live free should have their own states to go. I don't want to pay other people's salaries, and my freedom and privacy is not for f#kking Reid to debate. He can monitor his own family, and all the sheep that breed in the socialist states.
@ravaneli55 Kiss my ass you sheep. You corporate slaves should just stay in the fields where your masters want you. Live free, you have no fucking clue what freedom is, you have to wait for someone wealthy to tell you what to fight for and when.
At least it seems some socialists have the ability to state when someone on the other side is right on a topic...unlike the unthinking apes...btw, I was just talking about you.
@nbarile18 Congrats, you have hit the bottom of the political rhetoric barrel by trying to justify one person by speaking about another.
I can imagine it now. Germany 1933. A man says something bad about Hitler and in retort he hears, Hindenburg, Muller, Groener, Communist, Jews? What a lovely bunch running our country.
Grats, you are a mindless sheep to think its a choice between only satan and the devil. America is doomed because of people like you that make excuses for their side.
The Patriot Act should be destroyed... It is one of the most biggest crimes created to break the Constitution and shows how corrupt our government really is.
sumthin's funny when ass-wipe and devious-shit, harry reid, is supporting something...I believe that he wants to keep this in place for spying on political opposition...he and Pelosi are two pieces of absolute and pure shit
The dummies that wear cop uniforms can bust into my house whenever they want. They'll get shot with slugs and go home in body bags, but they can come in.
Miranda laws gone, 4 more years of patriot act? Homeland Security or Homeland Terrorism on America's people by the rich. Middle class destroyed, thanks to these loyal evil patriots to dictatorship. See FDR's FireSide Chats Bill Of Rights People who are jobless People who are homeless People who are hungry People who are dependent Are the stuff of DICTATORSHIP This is what brought on the REVOULUTION ? USA is China China is the old USA ? End the FED
When are the citizens going to rise up against these A holes and kick their dumb A's out of office. Reid is the most inept Sen. in the history of this country. It is becoming quite clear that the players, Democrap's and Republican'ts are playing us all like a fiddle. The reason I say that is because I sent an email to my Senator, Saxby Chambliss an email and asked him point blank if Sen. Paul was current in his assessment of the Renewal of Patriot Act. His response was "No Comment".
Rand: Excellent response! You make however one completely unwarranted assumption that Harry Reid is capable of intelligent debate. Frankly, I believe him to be a thorough idiot.
WOW, I almost NEVER agree with any Republican, but Rand is 100% right on this one and whoever would have the audacity/stupidity to accuse him of 'favoring terrorists' they themselves are the terrorists---waging terror on our rights to privacy and from illegal and unconstitutional search and seizure.
Oh and let's not forget, once the drug felony is on their rap sheet they forever lose the right to vote, can't hold a decent job, etc. You want to talk about slavery, look at the D party. The R party was bad too (Nixon was hell), but if you rally behind the "outcasts" like the Pauls (Rand/Ron) and other libertarians, America might have ONE last shot at being free.
National Security Letters can be written and signed by a federal agent, giving access to your bank accounts, credit card accounts, lawyers files...you never know about it, and Harry Reid thinks this is ok. Sneak and Peak warrants and no knock warrants fly in the face of the 4th amendment. Wake up people, the government is stepping over its constitutional bounds. Time to tell the government to get back over the line.
Senator Rand Paul is 100% right for being against the so-called "Patriot-Act"...... That being said, his objection to being labeled as being pro-terrorist for being against the Patriot-Act seems comically hypocritical. He himself is no stranger to using hyperbole, having accused those in favor of single-payer health care as being in favor of slavery.
@peacewavenow gov WOULD FORCE them to accept a LOWER pay. Now it's not forcing them to work for free, but the government would CERTAINLY consider forcing lower pay which is a component of slavery.
Still not as bad as the industrial-prison complex endorsed by Obama where blacks are forced to work for like $0.20/hr. Rand and others want to END that slavery by legalizing marijuana. 50% of male blacks get forced into that slavery, the majority arrested for drug-related offenses. Not free yet.
@UBSCARED it makes me sick when people like you make blunt arrogant misinformed responses like this as if you are some all knowing person who knows everything about every law on the books. its so sad... How about I educate your conceded mind with a link to an article on the subject...
@Lunartechno and so you can not like a pathetic little child say the link doesn't work, you need to replace the -dot- with a PERIOD. You might want to re-read this comment... a few times, so that you can thoroughly understand these extremely complicated (for you I'm assuming) instructions.
Well thanks for trying, Doc. It's nice to know Congress isn't completely full of crooks, liars, and thieves, even if they represent the overwhelming majority.
Well thanks for trying, Doc. It's nice to know Congress is completely full of crooks, liars, and thieves, even if they represent the overwhelming majority.
Harry Reid of course picks the lowest common denominator in which to attack Rand Paul. Nice job Rand arguing back and pointing out facts. Reid should have apologized.
It is a joke that our Congressional leadership is considered to be people like Boehner, Reid, Pelosi, and McConnel. Ron and Rand Paul are true leaders. Those others represent tyranny, not the people. Ron and Rand should be the people we look to for leadership.
Thank you Republican Senators Lee (Utah), newly-appointed Sen. Heller (Utah), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Paul (KY) for standing up and being true patriots. I always thought conservatives were pro-second amendment but apparently not when it comes to national security. Reid and Feinstein are leading the fight to get this passed. With each vote more democrats are coming over to the "Nay" side. Murkowski, Heller, Lee and Paul have voted against it every vote so far.
I cant believe THE DEMOCRATS are the ones pushing for the extension of the patriot act. this just reinforces Washington stereotypes. when bush was pushing the patriot extentions it was democrats that were against it. shame on harry reid
@rodneyrhoney1 I think you've got to loose that Democrat/Republican idea. Have you ever watched "The False Left Right Paradigm" by Alex Jones? Although I don't allways agree with what he does or says, I think he's right on that one...

Who cares what I want to accomplish, I'm there to represent YOUR will and defend YOUR constitutional rights.

The Government is not pure evil, the Paul's would characterize it as Washington did, "Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.
chewbaca1989 9 months ago
@chewbaca1989 Ron Paul stated that the correct way to get OBL was to place a mark on his head...when there was one for for over a decade....a ***50 MILLION DOLLAR*** one.
BTW, I love how you Paul supporters continue to quote the founding fathers after having been refuted to DEATH about each and every single one you pull out of your asses.
Quote Washington all you like, he impowered Hamilton's Federalists to allow DC to take over state debt, create the single monitary unit and federal bank.
rdrakken 9 months ago 4
@rdrakken
Letters of Marque and Reprisal as used by the Congress to combat the Barbary pirates. 3.5 trillion for Osama's head sounds like a bargain. So when the next Terrorists strikes I guess, and they will, America will follow the same formula as OBL. Brilliant. Touche', a understanding of Hamilton, good.
chewbaca1989 9 months ago
@chewbaca1989 So, in order to defend Paul for stating there should have been a mark on OBLs head when there already was one, you state the total cost for killing him as if it somehow means anything?
OBL HAD a mark on his head before 9/11, he had a larger one after 9/11...not a single person tried to collect on it...not even capitalist scum like Blackwater, so called patriotic Americans who are kill for hire thugs.
BTW, nice dodge on the Washington quote...not suprised in the least.
rdrakken 9 months ago 4
@rdrakken
You seem like a bright fellow, Letters of Mark, would have been issued by Congress, they weren't war was unleashed OBL head 3.5 Trill
chewbaca1989 9 months ago
@chewbaca1989 Hello? The Hamiltonian model is what Paul argues against...
Having a single currency places all power with the central government that produces it. Having a central bank keeps power in Washington and having the power to take over state debt leaves no room to remove it from them....all came out of Hamiltons brain.
You, like Paul, are playing both sides against itself...which is the heart of the problem with Paul's rhetoric, its pure nonsense.
rdrakken 9 months ago 4
@rdrakken
Supporting a failed system appears nonsensical.
chewbaca1989 9 months ago
@chewbaca1989 The point is that there is NO SUCH THING AS A NON-FAILED SYSTEM. It doesnt exist because it CANNOT. People will ALWAYS find ways to screw it up, or work around what is in place to give them the advatage over someone else...which again points to Paul's faults in his rhetoric that Libertarianism is the be all end all. Remove the Federal monopoly which can be governed by LAW places the monopoly in the hands with those with MONEY creating a more power monarchy, corporatism.
rdrakken 9 months ago 2
@rdrakken
That "LAW" is WONG.
chewbaca1989 9 months ago
@chewbaca1989 Thankfully there is no such law...and there cannot be.
Personally however I do think that any American that does buy gold is a traitor since he is actually helping to increase other nations currency over his own. A real patriot would be buying bonds and treasuries,otherwise known as his nations debt.
America instead has other nations buying their debt which indentures us to them,100% the fault of the people because its the people that stopped buying it over the last 40 years.
rdrakken 9 months ago 3
@rdrakken
Freedom love leave it, I love it don't you?
chewbaca1989 8 months ago

rdrakken 8 months ago 2

Hording Gold against the law: For fucks sake if that's not outlawing owning gold I don't know how else to categorizing it. I want to horde gold, food, money, guns and your for having the Federal government dictating what the hell I do in my private life. Bravo, thank you for caring.
chewbaca1989 8 months ago
@chewbaca1989 You dont know what is because you dont know what the fuck words mean.
Hording gold and OWNING gold are not the same thing fucking idiot.
People like you argue both ends against itself.
No doubt, you believe the dollar should be back on the gold standard...the gold standard the order was PROTECTING so the dollar wouldnt collapse you fucking uneducated prick. Gold value towards currency only applies when the GOVERNMENT of the currency has it.
rdrakken 8 months ago 2
@rdrakken
Hoarding is a characterization of ownership which is open to arbitrary interpretation. The dollar would not collapse if the government was responsible. Gold is valued not because of government but in spite of it's actions.
chewbaca1989 8 months ago
@chewbaca1989 No you clueless git, a currency that is on the gold standard has a value according to that nations holdings OF GOLD.
Why the fuck do you think a nations monitary unit can jump in value if its nations government BUYS GOLD?
WHY THE FUCK DO YOU THINK A GOVERNMENT HOLDS ONTO A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF GOLD? TO MAINTAIN ITS FUCKING MONITARY UNIT.
You are a clueless fuckwit for talking about shit you clearly know nothing about.
rdrakken 8 months ago
@rdrakken

Time to tell the government to get back over the line.

Senator Rand Paul is 100% right for being against the so-called "Patriot-Act"...... That being said, his objection to being labeled as being pro-terrorist for being against the Patriot-Act seems comically hypocritical. He himself is no stranger to using hyperbole, having accused those in favor of single-payer health care as being in favor of slavery.
peacewavenow 9 months ago
@peacewavenow gov WOULD FORCE them to accept a LOWER pay. Now it's not forcing them to work for free, but the government would CERTAINLY consider forcing lower pay which is a component of slavery.
Still not as bad as the industrial-prison complex endorsed by Obama where blacks are forced to work for like $0.20/hr. Rand and others want to END that slavery by legalizing marijuana. 50% of male blacks get forced into that slavery, the majority arrested for drug-related offenses. Not free yet.

The fact that the Federal Government refuses to obey our American Law proves that it should be constrained.
