Now in the sims 3 there is a beta to create a world, this allows you to place a lot, but its a little more advanced, and has a learning curve of how to create lots, roads, worlds, etc. This particular house was actually rebuilt/destroyed by the creator, and before a pre made family lived here. I think the pre built family was the "Wolff" family or something.

no the tool he used for tht is the ground tool thing how u can change the ground from grass to other things, the cars do not drive out of the drive ways when the sim is ready to go somewhere they will walk up the front of the house and the car will appear there.

ya, in the sims 3, the people just walk up to the road and the car poofs there, you can put the car anywhere on the lot. The driveway thing can be put anywhere on the lot, even indoors up a couple stories high, i made a parking garage, lol
