xD made me laugh. gonna get blender, even though my LAPTOP runs Windows XP and its slow, but Serif ImpactPlus (a 3D LOGO designing program) has no problems
you have to make your text, extrude it and then convert that into a mesh. You can then parent that to the armature and then move it into place and then delete the universal part. I may post a video tutorial soon but it will be without sound because i lost my mic. hope this gives you an idea.
