@rileymorgan27 Hey there. Listen I'm going to tell you the straight skinny. (the truth) It's is usually not painful at all. I was terrified for years because of dentist I had in a very small town in the 80's. Now - 30 years later things are much better. Someone taught me a trick a long time ago to help a little too. Just before your injection (don't worry it is a TINY needle) take slow deep breaths. SLOW don't get all hyperventilating on me. :) After that you probably won't feel a thing!

@rileymorgan27 ive had them done a few times bro, its not bad, the only thing i dont like is the numbing shot which is little to no pain. dont worry about it man, just when you get out dont eat nothing at first cause you might accidentaly chew on your cheek or lip and not even know it.

Thank you for posting this! I have to get three filled tomorrow and am as nervous as anything. Have an anxiety disorder so I'm a little more nervous as usual. I think it's the needle I am scared of.

the shot doesnt hurt at all . you can tell your dentist to count down , my dentist lets us hold the assitants hand.

@mexemma i get two tomorrow. i got four in kindergarten which was a little while ago. it doesnt hurt TOO bad. they numb it to keep the pain down. you should be fine.

@mexemma i dont remember, i think it does, but you gotta get used to it. i have to go soon to get it it done. i have two small ones that wont take too long. you just have to be able to keep your mouth open. the numbing helps make it so you can't feel so much. i ll tell you what its like when i go later.

@LoveBiebzStorys don't worry, i can't stand even seeing needles. i'm having a cavity filled at some point but i want it over with, because it hurts (and i have a major sweet tooth, which is the reason behind it all) and i want it gone! i can stand a second of pain over a week of toothache
