haha my old halflinger cross used to stop if You didnt't chase him! I spent ages on the circling game, there is nothing so frustrating as sending a horse out who goes 4 steps then stops and blanks you. Again and again and again! He wasnt so nice as your pony if you chased him though, he would sort of plough along the rope or walk backwards and generally do his best to be awkward! he was such a sweetie and we got it sorted in the end! good luck! you learn so much through parelli :)
When porcupining the hindquarters and she is walking forward instead of yielding, shorten the rope. Also, she seems a little bit escapy (she moves before you touch her). She needs friendly game there so that she doesn't just expect you are going to push her every time you go there. I agree with HeartParker on the cirdling game problem, too. Very good without the courses!!
thanks for the advice....I do know that I am not supose to "hunt" her, but if i do not she do not move......My old gelding can do it right, but not Jasse....not yet anyway...but I am working om it.......
heyy nice for a first time. just a tip.. when doing the circling game, if she is moving dont keep after her with the stick.just keepyou feet plaanted adn pass the rope behind you. if she stops turnaround and send her again. You dont want to keep badgering her if shes trying! hope that helps
