I used Equal for years and now I use Splenda. I figure these sweeteners have been around long enough that if they do cause cancer in humans, they would have proven it by now.

I use Sweet and Low and my friend would always say "That causes cancer in lab rats" and I would say "Good think I am not a lab rat." Sorry to hear about your grandad.
