@mert360 what do you wish to replace capitalism and communism with? turkestanism? what would a turkestanist economy look like? what it be agrarian? would it be ruled by local feudal lords?
it's so easy to tell the differen between chinese and Japanese culture actually.Chinese culture is more reserved than Japanese overall, and very deep. It's usually hard for Common people to undersand it.To learn Japanese culture may just spend 10 years, but it will take more than 50 years to study Chinese civilization.
@wlwlnana i know you possibly encompass 5000 years of culture and tradition in a few sentences, but, could you give me a brief, general, very general overview of some of the differences between japanese culture and chinese culture, i'm very curious.
there are some subtal differences on their traditional dresses.Chinese dresses through thousand-year history have been changing all the time, but the basic style has remained the same untill Qing dynasty.Compared with Chinese dresses,Japanese are usually very very heavy and deeply influenced by western culture, and of course in modern time one of chinese dresses-QiPao has also affected by western culture, but it is actually not Chinese traditional clothes(related to the history)
to generalize a kind of culture for u actually still wouldn't make u understand it(besides I alrealdy told in my first comment),unless u really have the heart to know the culture.
Lol, me too. HAL Laboratories (makers of Kirby and Super Smash Brothers) are win. Still, I sympathize with the Japanese sentiment to be British. I've got a little Irish, a lot of German, but meh... xD
I really dont mean to sound ignorant, but what is the difference between Chinese and Japanese culture. I know China has over 56 different cultures, but I'm referring to the one thats shown in the video.
Like I heard that the Japanese were actually people originally from either Mongolia, or Northern China/Korea. and there was a lot of Chinese influence in Japan during the Hiean era, such as chinese literature, religion (buddism), pagoda style houses, etc.
Any more Difference bettween the Chinese and Japanese?
All the differences I can tell you are my bias. Japanese are generally much more sexual than the Chinese. The Chinese thrive on wisdom and serenity while the Japanese don't take their culture very seriously.
no problem thats okay, I am a Mexican and I am biased towards the Guatemalans. I do believe you becuase I met this one Chinese girl in my school (cute girl btw) and she seemed very nice (and she was from Hong Kong)
But one question. Whats up with the Koreans being so rude? a lot of them i've met are jerks and are VERY close minded
If you feel like this, I would like to apologize on behalf of decent Korean. As you may already know there are good person and bad person together in every country. And for Koreans it has been a long and hard time between the two very powerful countries like China and Japan.
To survive between superpowers Koreans might become mentally stronger, but sometimes it looks like rude and stubborn, I agree. But if you become a real friend with decent Korean, you will understand that Koreans have a lot of friendship and hospitality. I whis you could meet some real good Koreans soon.
@johnwang8 Your bias is foolish and shows you don't know very much about either culture in the least. I've studied Japan for ten years and I take Chinese and have studied their culture for five years.
What you're saying is sheer personalized opinion and gives people false images about both cultures. Do some research before you post things about a culture on the internet. It makes you appear ignorant.
@johnwang8 I'm done here, arguing with a child solves nothing in the way of resolving people's lack of knowledge. If you knew anything about Asia at all you would be ashamed you ever opened your naive and ignorant mouth. Have fun walking about in a cloud of sheer stupidity.
Which Japanese are you talking about? Which Chinese are you talking about?l
In my experience, it's entirely the other way around. The Japanese are generally Traditionalists (even the younger generations), and, while they respect other cultures, they quite firmly place theirs above all others. The Chinese are a mixed bunch - I know many who completely ignore their heritage, but I know a couple who are indefagitably devoted to their culture.
@TheDarkflags the majority of sex toys are manufactured in japan, and japan has the highest numbers of porn shops. they are a very.... flamboiant bunch these days. In America and Canada however, I think you're right. But visiting the home of these cultures (Japan or China) i note some major differences
I've only ever been to Hong Kong, never to mainland China, so I couldn't say. However, I've been to Japan many times, and for prolonged visits, and can safely say that you have an incredibly skewed idea of Japan, if you think that they are "flamboiant" in the slightest.
@TheDarkflags i suppose i associated with a different group of people there, i was introduced to the people and culture through my japanese friends. I see that 8 months ago i wanted to make sure you know this is my bias, and i just shared my opinion. so "skewed' probably isnt the best word to use
@TheDarkflags dude, you have'nt been to Japan lately..Give them 10 yrs and they will be just like the U.S. ....bad manners and all..They are freely showing disrespect to rules.....Tradition is a thing of the past with "the new japan"
I've been to Japan every year for the past three years. I have family who live there, and I have family friends who have lived there/are still living there.
Lol, are you comparing that trash filth to the great and unique chinese culture? You know nothing about chinese culture whatsoever. Japanese borrowed 3/4 elements of the chinese culture and the funny thing is that they claim it as their own. Kanji=Copy of hanzi, Kimono= Copy of Hanfu, Katana= Copy of the Tang dynasty sword, Japanese paintings= heavenly influenced from china, gardening and architecture=same story. Bonsai is not even a japanese plant, it's originally chinese. And so on and on...
this is why I ask what the difference is. Because like you said, the Kimonos look a lot like the Chinese dresses. The Geishas look a lot like the one's from the Guandong Province. I heard that Sushi isnt japanese either, it's actually orinally Chinese. and chill dude, dont hate on me, I actually think Chinese culture is interesting. I want to learn more about it.
I just checked your favorites. It's infested with anime horse shit. You posted that comment 1 month ago. Did you try to learn more about chinese culture, or you were just on Youtube watching videos? You do know that Chinese culture is IMMENSE. You don't even have the passion in learning it. You're just one of the already increasing number of interwebz surfers who admire the thing but don't do shit to expand their knowledge about it. Go back watching those silly japanese cartoons.
@iKimonomono Try to not start a fight. Both cultures are beautiful. I admit that It's taken be a while to get into the history and culture of China, but it's quickly coming to supercede even my admiration for Japan. You're correct in that many of the aspects of the Japanese culture are borrowed from China, but that's not uncommon. Think of the Greeks and Romans, and the British and Americans. If imitation is the truest form of flattery, why are you so offended?
