I have a knife just like that, excepts it's all red (no gold paint writing on the side) and it was bought from some camping ground in southern Finland.

the motel knows it's ripping people off. if someone is stupid, desperate or lazy, they will succumb to the mini-bar. but if you come prepared, like having your own deck of card, vodka and yoga CD, you can by pass the mini-bar completely. or go to the nearest store to buy more for half the price.

That's just F'd up, I would be heading to the nearest drugstore, Dollar General, or some place else near by, If I needed anything, and pay way less.

Sweet :D I myself was in hotel recently and the prizes were similiar.

In that they were overprized trough the roof!... but interesting choices of products nonetheless. ;)

This is why I stay in motels. You can just gallivant around the nearby stores for less.
