oh yeah i'll definitely be making more in time here, i think the next thing up will be a day by day documentation of me and these guys on a camping trip we'll be taking about 3 1/2 weeks from now. but i'll be doing more real deal music vids and such when i manage to get my new mac book pro soon...might be a few months though.

but this summer, given some proper time, i'll have some great videos made on my own time. Probably not zombies and probably not queens of the stone age, as i tend to have a wide range of musical taste, but something good.

Secondly, it was for a high school competition, so even that head getting pulled off was a big stretch against the violence rules in the competition guidelines, it's sad, but i was pushing the boundaries as it already was, so to make truly gory limb-loss situations (and trust me, I could) would be a gaurantee of exactly ZERO airtime for my video at school.

haha i'm well aware of the zombies' lameness, there's quite a few things that account for that:

Firstly, if I'd not been under a constraint to finish the project quite so quickly, i could have maybe spent a little time at the constume shop and bought some proper makeup to mess up their looks a bit. Of course i was hoping to make the video without spending a dime so I really didn't feel like spending money at the time, i just wanted to see what i could make for free.

I started it at school as a side project on a G5 PowerMac with FinalCut. Then when I realized that I actually wanted to do something with this project I transferred it to my iPod and took it home to make the actual second two-parts of the movie.

after i got it home, i edited it on my hp pavillion zv6000 notebook with adobe premiere elements 1.0

everything was done within either finalcut or premiere, no third party software was used.
