  • Simply awe inspiring.

I've heard Rossano once, live in Milan, he's also an absolutely cool, likeable guy, always smiling, sitting with us at our table after playing, and enduring my neverending questions about his music!

I hope I can get to hear these guys in Boswil in october 2010.

  • Perfection at 3:38 when Olaf takes Rossano's motif and develops it marvelously.

Rossano's thumb notes with his right hand at 4:09 should be in every counterpoint manual.

The change of texture at 6:13 is the proof of the high level of musicality taking place here.

What a joy to see young pianists playing like this.

  • Nice, so nice...

Impeccable taste, musicality, swing, technique. Being a jazz pianist myself, I have only words of praise for these two marvelous musicians.

Rossano, you've got it, man! Many pianists disregard the kind of two-hand stride you play for Olaf on the first chorus as just a "simple oom-pah", but you know it's not so simple. Both the bass notes and the chords must be held a tiny fraction of time to produce that tremendous energy. Your walking bass is perfect too.

    Great, man, great.
