@optahealth The pigeon pose works the same muscles with the same intention (hip 'opening'). The main difference between this and the pigeon pose is that this guy is leaning into the stretch on the side of the bent leg, whereas in pigeon pose you would normally be working at keeping your hips level (which you need to do to go onto the next stage - hands off the floor).
I can't even get into position. Knee hurts like hell. I am quite flexible overall but this just doesn't work for me.
