Congratulations Macedonia from Spain! You deserved more than 4th because you were a real team. I enjoyed the semifinal more than the final because there were 2 teams playing as a team, while France wasn't exactly a "team" (plus I didn't like their fake game in the 2nd round). You deserved to play the final game too. Your style should be closely studied by every young player: the team comes before the player and you never give up. I sincerely hope you can finally get to the Olympics next year.

@rissargopa I understand, i know those teams have been around and competing with the best for a while and that is why i am so proud of what our team achieved this tournament. The beat two top ten teams and played well against the second best in the world and most of the teams Macedonia versed this comp were above them in the rankings. At the moment there are many many(!) talented players,but the system works differently here than any other normal country. You have to be someone's something to get to play in the national team,this year it was the first politically independent team and you saw what they did.The moment politics get out of the sport here, you will hear from us again.And hopefully it will be even more painful! muahaha Cheers

What to say about youngsters.. think we have talented boys, but there is no real interest about that..I hope this will gona change now...generation of Gecevski was 4th in Eurobasket U19, and from that team he's the only that continued to play.
@radijacija2007 I remember Pero from when he used to play in AEK, he is not shit, he is ok, but he is not on the level of the good european PF/C, especially the NBArs, and he appeared to be better than he really is in this eurobasket. I know he signed for Olympiakos, but Olympiakos droped his budged by 2/3 this year. He could not have played in Olympiakos 2 years ago when on his position they had Kleisa, Burousis, Vuicic, Shortsianitis, etc.

Another brave game from our heroes! It was equal game till the end of 3rd quarter, and we loose only because Navaro played his best game on this Eurobasket. It is obvious that we were missing our big mans Gecevski, and young Nikolovski who suffer injury on preparing game.When our defense try to limit spaniards to score from the paint, then Navaro started to score 3point shots like mad, and that decided this game.However, I'm very proud, our players were excellent, no matter they loose this game!

We play with Macedonian players and will play next time again with Macedonian players you liked that name or not.Us,Russia,China,India,Canada and 130 other countries see the reality but some people simple are brainwashed and instead to resolve their own problems make problems to other.

@kostas67reth Every single Macedonian around the world will remember this achievement because of the way our team played with heart and a love for the game. Everyone underestimated us, Greece is a prime example. Nobody believed we would make it that farbut we showed them that we deserved to be in the top 4. I hope that Macedonian Basketball and at sports in general Macedonia will continue going forward.

Another brave game from our heroes! It was equal game till the end of 3rd quarter, and we loose only because Navaro played his best game on this Eurobasket. It is obvious that we were missing our big mans Gecevski, and young Nikolovski who suffer injury on preparing game.When our defense try to limit spaniards to score from the paint, then Navaro started to score 3point shots like mad, and that decided this game.However, I'm very proud, our players were excellent, no matter they loose this game!
