  • thats good news. to bad iraq was never the problem to begin with...

  • Don't thank Obama, Thank Bush.

  • Thank Bush?

What for destablizing what was for the most part a stable country to begin with, sure saddam was a murderer and a dictator, but maybe you should've tkaen that into consideration before you yanks put him into power in the first place.

    I

  • Stable Country my ass. You couldn't even go to the grocery store without the threat of being raped or murdered. And do explain how we put Saddam into power?

  • 7 years to get it where its at '' safe ''

  • yes get the boys home so we can mark them as anti americans when will you learn going to war for the bankers and so on makes you look dumb

  • Katie,

"APPEARS to be winding down...." is wishful thinking, at best. US forces have killed thousands of mujahedeen and guerilla fighters, but this is like Vietnam--There is an endless supply of young Shia & Sunni men who despise our presence there. There is no end and no winning this type of war. Our last forces may well have to exit on to helicopters on rooftops, guns blazing. So Katie, stop the government-propaganda BS. This entire affair was an unnecessary foreign policy disaster.

  • Katie,

This is propaganda from the NYC-government media axis. Yes, there has been SOME reduction in violence in the past year BECAUSE Baghdad has been extensively ghetto-ized into walled-off areas, each containing either Sunni or Shia residents. Out in the provinces, Sunni and Shia are preparing for civil war, and the Kurds will fight to the death to prevent being sucked back under the corrupt control of Baghdad. US forces are holding open the jaws of a huge tiger, & they want to exit--fast!

  • It's time to clean up all the illegal immigration and drug bullshit that's going on in the U.S.A.

  • i heard Brian Williams on NBC say that "there isn't much to report out of Iraq these days..." basically declaring victory now that Obama is in office... it's amazing that since their boy won, the "crisis" that existed prior to the election has suddenly disappeared from all radar screens, and has been replaced by such hard hitting journalism as "what new outfit Michelle is wearing" and "the new dog at the White House... "

  • PuppyBuoyancy,

Yes! The massive coverage of Obama's new dog was insulting, patronizing, & ridiculous. Who cares? At the same time, our relationship with Russia is going into the toilet, Pakistan is headed for failed-state status, the housing market continues down, companies are continuing to throw thousands of workers into the streets, and to move plants overseas. Soon, Obama is going to wipe out our last remaining industry via the Cap-and-Trade Carbon Scam. Had enough yet?

  • Thank goodness!!!!!

  • Safer than anytime since 2003? That's like saying most delicious smelling carnival worker.

  • Thank God

  • true true it is safer then 2001

  • lol @ bushing plan

  • bushs*

  • Wow things are pretty much over in Iraq..Notice the silence regarding any credit George W "Hitler" Bush gets in this victory...But hey, Chairman Obama probably put a magic spell on the country and "hope"d them into "change"ing their ways. Fuck my life.

  • haa

  • exactly

Obama gets all the credit for work done under Bush

    Osama Bin Biden--> OBEY!

fuck them and fuck the Liberals

  • The key phrase here is "that's the plan".

  • oooo
