@SamuelJoaodaSuica old dub was the single worst english dub of any anime in all of history. the acting was godawful and emotionless since they just hired people whod never acted before, sabat had a worse imitation of drummond than even some fandubs, the dialogue was mangled and made more childish beyond belief that it doesnt even resemble the japanese dialogue, and they destroyed the characters personalities, mainly freeza who they made a chainsmoking comedian instead of an aristocratic badass

You are mixing dubs first of all... I am only taking about the old Funi Dub...
Secondly, Your list didn't bother me at all when I was 8 years old watching DBZ... I didn't really care that these things changed from the Manga... The quality was just as good, and yes there were a few plot holes because of the changed scripts, however the Voice acting was superb and there were plenty of good additions as well that made DBZ great...

Am I supposed to care about these dialogue changes??? Well, I don't really give a shit. Half of the stuff you mentioned was in the Ocean Dub, not the Funi Dub. Also, I watched the Funi Dub, and the changes that WERE made didn't bother me one bit as I watched it... The experience was not lowered because of it, and to this day, the old Funi English Dub is the greatest dub... The voice actors and Music is what MADE DBZ DBZ in the United States of America...

It's exactly why FUNimation admits from their major mistakes from the past and rebooted their dub entirely in DB kai. They redid the dub for a reason and that is to be faithful.
I agree, that the dub was not faithful to the Japanese Manga, however, it doesn't bother me the way it bothers you... In fact, people like you in the USA are very rare... Though the japanese anime does do the manga dialog justice, in the end, they both deliver the same overall message, but are separate continuities because they have different pacings. Believe it or not, I am a filler supporter, I ultimately accept it as a part of DB as far as the anime goes. Infact, I prefer the anime over the manga of DB.

That scene was actually very inaccurate in the Z dub, especially where Freeza threatened to kill King Vegeta.
That never happened
Funimation rewrote it to make Vegeta more sympathetic, the same way they rewrote Goku's reason to let Vegeta live (Originally he wanted to have a rival to push himself further, rewritten to Goku thought Vegeta could become good), and they took out Vegeta's motivation during the whole Android saga (He wanted to kill Goku in combat)

@wisewarriormuzic I don't know, Chris Ayres is better than Linda Young. Sean Schemmel and Chris Sabat improved their performances immensely. Granted, I didn't like Gohan's voice but it wasn't *bad* per se. I HATED Bulma's new voice.
The music? In places it was poor, in others it was better, but then that describes practically every version of the soundtrack really. They never seem to get it perfect, although, yes, I do agree that if got repetitive in places.

Although she's a far better actress than Stephany Nadolny , Colleen's voice just didn't suit the part.
@capoono Yeah Some people didn't like the fillers.I personally like DBZ fillers more than ANY other anime I've ever watched.They're as enjoyable as the actual episodes and show what the characters do when they aren't doing...the usual.Like when Krillin tried to take a short cut to the lookout but ran into Cell or Goku spending time with his family and friends before the Cell games.I think the new voice for Gohan sounds like they have a stuffy nose lol and Freiza sounds suprisingly MORE gay (IMO)

@MrBonez1092 Of course, but most of the normal dialouge that is epic and is from the heart of the characters, in kai, just isn't as good. I like the original z for scenes like vegeta's first death, when he tells goku how cruel frieza is and that he can't hold back.

That scene was actually very inaccurate in the Z dub, especially where Freeza threatened to kill King Vegeta.
That never happened
Funimation rewrote it to make Vegeta more sympathetic, the same way they rewrote Goku's reason to let Vegeta live (Originally he wanted to have a rival to push himself further, rewritten to Goku thought Vegeta could become good), and they took out Vegeta's motivation during the whole Android saga (He wanted to kill Goku in combat)
The Kai dub fixed it all

@mritizwatitiz What cartoon network needs to do is put Toonami back on in place of Adult Swim & put on some good cartoons like Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Wolf's Rain, Samurai Champloo, DBZ, Trinity Blood, FLCL, Gundam Wing, Ruroni Kenshin (Samurai X). The list goes on.

@wisewarriormuzic I don't know, Chris Ayres is better than Linda Young. Sean Schemmel and Chris Sabat improved their performances immensely. Granted, I didn't like Gohan's voice but it wasn't *bad* per se. I HATED Bulma's new voice.
The music? In places it was poor, in others it was better, but then that describes practically every version of the soundtrack really. They never seem to get it perfect, although, yes, I do agree that if got repetitive in places.

@wisewarriormuzic If you want to watch Kai with blood and swearing then watch th uncut version, not the edited tv version. And of course there's no filler episodes that's the point of Kai. To make a dbz without all the filler and a new script so it's more like the manga.

@wisewarriormuzic lol dude, the whole point of Kai was to get rid of the filler episodes that weren't part of the manga's original story, I can't think of any reason why anyone would WANT to watch filler that wasn't part of the story in the first place. I prefer all the new voice performances in Kai with the exception of Colleen Clinkenbeard as Gohan. Although she's a far better actress than Stephany Nadolny , Colleen's voice just didn't suit the part.

@capoono Yeah Some people didn't like the fillers.I personally like DBZ fillers more than ANY other anime I've ever watched.They're as enjoyable as the actual episodes and show what the characters do when they aren't doing...the usual.Like when Krillin tried to take a short cut to the lookout but ran into Cell or Goku spending time with his family and friends before the Cell games.I think the new voice for Gohan sounds like they have a stuffy nose lol and Freiza sounds suprisingly MORE gay (IMO)

@wisewarriormuzic Fair if you like the filler episodes, but I hated all of them except for the Other World Tournament saga. As for Frieza sounding more gay, thats sort of what they were going for, and if you listen to the original voice in Japanese, it doesn't get any gayer than that. Frieza is meant to sound eloquent and effete, adding to the sinister feeling And about the cussing and gore, swearing and blood/guts isn't what made DBZ awesome, but the Toonzai edit is just too much lol
