  • If you legalize social problems, it just opens Pandora's Box to legalize every perversion and crime as something that is "misunderstood".

  • And come on. 99.9999% of prostitutes are drug addicts who do not care about feeding anyone's children. Jesus christ these guys are too liberal at times. Get fucking real.

  • @me25422: Source please?

  • @8NCLI8 hahah ur funny. yeah ur right the majority of prostitutes are law abiding family oriented women. and does saying Source please make u feel smart?

  • @me25422: Don't put words in my mouth. You made a claim that don't match with my opinion based on the prostitutes I hear in the debate here in Denmark, where we've been debating banning it. I therefore asked you to give a source to back up your claim. If you can't do that, then your claim is quite pointless, don't you think?

Oh, and saying "Source please" doesn't make me feel smart, but not being able to use proper grammar makes you look stupid.

  • @8NCLI8 Proper grammar? you said " You made a claim that don't match with my..." sorry but that is not proper english either. hahahah! u now can continue being a douche bag.

  • @me25422: I made a mistake, you're clearly intentionally lazy. Also, just responding to the end of my post does not qualify as a reply.

  • @8NCLI8 oh come on do u really not believe that most prostitutes are drug addcits?

  • @me25422

  • @8NCLI8 check out veronica's voice .org look at numbers 17,21

  • @me25422 im sure u can find more studies that show this.

  • @8NCLI8 u are too funny! i like how u specifically say that I "intentionally" lazy. i guess that would be worse than "unintentionally" lazy. And by the way, u dont sound smart correcting people's grammar on you tube.

  • @8NCLI8 Women who become street prostitutes do so because of a drug problem, or because the streets are a less violent home than where they come from. "They turn to drugs to make life tolerable."21 the first part is saying they were addicts b4 becoming prostitutes. but my originally claim was that they are addicts.

  • @me25422: Actually, the quote on that site "Most prostitutes became drug or alcohol addicted on the streets and became more trapped in prostitution to earn money to support their habits." clearly implies that they become addicts AFTER they become prostitutes, not the other way around.

I think it's fairly safe to assume that would be less likely if prostitution was legalized and separated from the drug/sex syndicates and crime groups which run it in the US now.

  • @8NCLI8 well 1st of all i didn't say WHEN they became addictes, I just said that most of them are. and it says,"Many prostitutes are high school dropouts, come from poor and abusive homes, move from place to place and are alcoholics or drug addicts." #17 i do agree that it should be legal though.

  • I think prostituion should be legal also but I would not say it is a victimless crime. Many time women become prostitutes because of drugs and b/c its illegal they are subjected to all kinds of human rights violations that would not be the case if it were legal. Also disease becomes a factor. And think about the wife of the man who cheats and their children. It is NOT a victimless crime.

  • if the govt cnt tax it then its illegal.....

  • it's funny that religion is against everything but it's always been one of the biggest causes of death and destruction in the world.

  • i dont wanna walk with a weed card in my pocket either.

    its like im marked.

and what does this mean for my health insurance??

    think of it .

    legal weed is a illusion.

people will always try to make money with it.

and you the smaller guy will always loose and pay.

if it was treated as grass, i could just grow it anywhere .

    but i cant

  • @ImmortalUniverse It sounds like all your complaints are directed towards prohibitions in some areas and not others. You have/had a concentration of prostitutes in some areas which made it somewhat of an eyesore. But that is not the fault of the legalization of these areas, it is the result of the prohibition in others. The slave trade results from the unregulated black market outside. Similarly the prohibition of A-class drugs has created a haven for black market sellers.

  • @ImmortalUniverse But if we tax it it helps lower the debt because of the income. And you never hear of abuse with weed.

  • and they are trying a test now in some Dutch town .

they wanna introduce a weed card.

so weed users like myself can get weed at a coffeeshop by showing our card to the owner.

this way the Goverment wants to reduce weed going out of ther country.

so what does this mean for YOU visitors of Holland,

it means in the future theres a change you cant legally buy weed in our country anymore .

so we are banning weed toerist in a way.

Our town is still against the weed card, but...

  • so weed is not legal at all in the Netherlands .

its only legal for the goverment to sell it and tax it .

i may only pay for it like grazy and smoke it at home .

while i can grow my own supply for less.

    but thats illegal

    (not that i care)

  • and with the weed its just as hypocrite.

they advertise Amsterdam here ,like its weed paradise.

yes coffeeshops are legal. aslong as the goverment gets tax .

but the grazy rule is ,a coffeeshop can only have a small amount in the house.

usually that sup[ply runs out fast.

    then it needs resupply .

so the coffeeshops needs sellers .

but when i grow weed and sell it to a coffeeshop ,thats illegal.

so the goverment wins on both sides.

they get tax and they bill and jail me.

  • they have closed the red light district in my town , and im happy they did.

ive seen these red lights all my life .

i had too pass the area when i went to school ,there was no way around it.

the street was always full of people selling coke and speed and xtc

    .

when i went to school i first had to pass guy's that wanna sell you drugs , and then girls that wave at you and wanna fuck you while your 16 years old.

    nice hood.

  • Prostitution has always been here and will always be here.... WHY not just Freaking legalize it!

  • WTF he sounds like lenard from big bang theory.

  • is the caller the guy out of whos line is it anyway?

  • Legalizing prostitution in the USA would mean society would have to mentally grow up, I don't see it happening.

  • Legalizing prostitution in the USA would mean society would have tomentally grow up, I don't see it happening.

  • Prostitution has been legal here for almost 10 years. I don't see why it shouldn't be and why it should be considered immoral.

  • Prostitution should be decrimnalized.

The 1st thing in the Bill Of Rights should be that consenting adults have the right to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't interfere with someone else's rights.

Thinking something is immoral or perverted is no basis for punishment. Arrogant ignorant jerks just can't handle anyone doing anything sexual that they disapprove of so they lash out any way they can.

  • If the prostitutes were treated well i'd be for it

  • No one should ever have to recourse to prostitution to feed their family.

I'd rather exterminate humanity, then live in a society that thinks that's an a-ok situation.

Prostitution should be illegal, but prostitutes should be reeducated and given real jobs, and not punished otherwise, whereas pimps and people traffickers and the like should be executed. Preferably brutally.

Actually a few brutal executions for the vilest of humanity ought to keep the rest in line.

  • @TheSkunkCat "Prostitution should be illegal," why shouldn't I be allowed to sell sex if I wanted to? Its common knowledge that people sell sex all the time. If one person took their date to mcdonalds, and another to a 5 star restaurant and followed it with a fancy gift who do you think is more likely to get laid that night?

  • What's that opening song?

  • Outside of that, if a female makes the conscious, unpressured decision to become a prostitute, then I don't see the problem. As there are plenty of women that see prostitution as a good way to earn a living. Have sex, AND get paid. That kind of thing. :P

  • To take the example of the caller. I'm against that. A mother basically forced to prostitute herself (can you still really call it consent then?) just so she can feed herself and her child is just wrong. Single, jobless mothers should be put on welfare imo. I don't care if they try to find a job or not after that. It's better than them selling themselves out of necessity.

  • since its legal to do for free, i dont think it should be illegal if someone wants to pay for it, as long as they restrict it (no underage prostitutes, mandatory STD testing, both participants are willing, etc)

  • What I don't understand is what is the difference between Porn and Prostitution? Is it not basically the same thing?

  • @TheLuckySaGe No. Porn is pictures and prostitution is real women.

  • @blarson12 Porn is not just pictures lol............it basically is filming sex......so you did not answer my question. I really do not see a difference.

  • @TheLuckySaGe Yes but you can't have sex with the people on the tv having sex but you can with a hooker.

  • @blarson12 I think they were trying to make the point that both prostitution and porn essentially involve people being paid to have sex, and therefore does make it difficult for some to distinguish between the two.

  • @jimmi251085 Yes but my point was that porn is something you watch where as prostitution is something you can take part in.

  • @blarson12 Sure, but anyone can also get involved in porn if they wanted. Other than the publicity side of things, the difference between a pornstar and a prostitute is how they solicit clients.

  • @jimmi251085 You forgot that porn is not illegal like prostitution. They still have big differences.

  • @blarson12 Of course, but fundamentally the work entailed in being a pornstar is basically the same as a prostitute.

  • @jimmi251085 It doesn't matter as long as it's legal. Thats all the government cares about. As long as they pay their taxes the government doesn't care.

  • @blarson12 I didnt say it mattered from a governmental stand point because thats not what we're talking about. Your point originally was that prostitution is real women and porn is pictures, which is asinine, unless your talking about hentai porn.

  • @jimmi251085 What i mean is prostitution is more realistic than porn IF you don't take part in the porn.

  • @blarson12 If you don't take part in it, it doesnt stop existing in the real world. I don't follow your logic. I also don't see how one can be "more realistic", because both activities occur in the real world.

  • @jimmi251085 Well whats more readily available? Prostitution no?

  • Oh my God its Greg Proops from the TV show 'Whose Line is it Anyway?'

  • @FrankieSayRelaxxx1 Maybe it was.

  • Prostitution should be legalized but very strictly controlled.

  • @endthedisease Just like drugs in the Godfather? Keep it away from schools. Keep it in the dark areas. They are animals anyway. Let them loose their souls.

  • @vcomp1960 I think it's more like how cigarettes and alcohol are regulated in real life. When alcohol was illegal for a brief period, it became exactly like you described, but it's generally safer now that it's legal. If we legalize prostitution, then most of the problems will be solved or reduced. It would also be taxable, and the police would have one less thing to look out for.

  • @endthedisease Agreed. The crime rate would drop a little too.

  • I think George Carlin said it best ... Selling is legal, fucking is legal, how can selling fucking be illegal?

  • @MrMZaccone I agree with the point, but not the logic.

After all, eating and babies are both legal too.

  • @hagenar Babies is a noun, not a verb. "Selling" and "fucking" are both verbs. Examine your own logic and see if you can do better.

  • @MrMZaccone (sigh) As if word category matters.

Intimidating can be legal (on the sports field for example). Not so while fucking. Happy?

I loved GC and agreed with his view of things, but we cannot hold up every single thing he said as a pearl of wisdom and logic.

  • @hagenar Of course word category matters! Babies aren't really legal or illegal, those words can only be properly applied to actions or behavior. An object cannot be "legal" or "illegal" it's ownership or use may be "prohibited" but again ownership and use are actions not objects. Your whole analogy is again suspect. I know a girl who LOVES to be intimidated while fucking and as long as she has a safe word it's perfectly legal. (at least in my state) As for G. C. I agree. So would he.

  • If the choice is 'I'm going to prostitute myself or my kids starve' and that is honestly the case? Then that society needs to be taken over and forcefully reformed. A society in which that choice ends up being the only choice does not deserve to exist.

The measure of a societies worth is how it treats it's most vulnerable members. And to me anyone who disagrees, especially anyone who opposes that view is so deeply evil they do not deserve to live.

  • @Shavarnarak

I mean seriously, if someone has to prostitute themselves to feed their kids. Then you don't say 'Derp! That makes Prostitution okay, huh-huk!'

Then it's time to fight to reform society so that no one should ever be put for that choice. End of fucking story. A civilized society should NEVER allow for that possibility to exist. A society must support it's people. Fuck everyone who disagrees.

  • @Shavarnarak I would argue that in our society, that's never the case. But, let's extend the analogy. How long is it before that can be applied to ANY work. I shouldn't have to clean bathrooms to feed my kids. I shouldn't have to work in a factory with all those dangerous machines to feed my kids. I shouldn't have to risk my life as a police officer to feed my kids, I shouldn't have to ... etc. Where do you draw the line?

  • thats a blanket statement saying that christians require you to have children everytime you have sex

  • If prostitution was legal than thee would be a lot of crimes cut back on the girls, and jhons who are beaten or robbed, the std rate and kids wouldnt have to see them on the streets. Also the govt could tax the johns, girls and place they are working at. Theres a lot that can be done when prositution is legal

  • OMG!! Vicitimless crime?? Here we go. And the hits just keep on cummin'.

  • I go by the George Carlin methid:

Selling is legal, fucking is legal; why isn't selling fucking, legal?

  • planned parenthood promotes abortions of course they are villified plus im sure these two athiests wouldnt mind having their daughters working on the streets having thousands of men having their way with them , they are sick individuals. thats my problem with athiests most dont care about morals

  • @prime440 "thats my problem with athiests most dont care about morals" athiest care as much about morals as any religious person.and just bc they think prositution should be legal doesnt make them bad people.

  • @ellimist6 im a christian and i believe in contraceptives, im adamently against abortion for the purpose of birth control, and not all prostitutes are working on a volentary basis. some are young kids picked up off the streets and forced.and as far as bad people are concerned its a choice they make as adaults, and we as adualts are supposed to set the examples for our children.to have good strong morals doesnt make you a bad person eithor !!

  • @prime4 if prostitution was legal than it would stop child sex trafficking or help. and whats it to you what another human chooses to do if it doesnt cause any one else harm? we can set example for kids and still have legal prostitution. the idea of selling sex is has old has man and money.

  • Prostitution should be legal. However, keep in mind that many prostitutes are abuse victims if you're considering that.

  • i dont really see much of a moral difference between porn and prostitution. 2 people get paid in porn to have sex, 1 person gets paid and the other pays in prostitution. other than that people start talking semantics that are not usable. what if i pay my wife to have sex with me. "honey lets have sex" wife "i dont feel like it" me "ill give you 10 bucks" wife "ok fine" im not married or anything im just saying is that illegal. honey ill buy you cigarettes for a blowjob. no difference.

  • Why is it infered that only women can be prostitutes?

  • @rangergxi

That's a good point. Does male prostitution wrongly exploit men, the way "regular" prostitution supposedly exploits women? If not then why is it illegal too? I say these two atheist guys are perhaps underestimating the influence of religion on current public morals.

  • Feminist groups think that prostitution demeans women. But the fact is, flipping burgers or working as a waitress is no less demeaning, and also pays much less.

  • @logik316 Im a feminist, I beleive we should have shared sex change rooms and be allowed to touch eachother without punishment. :D

  • @rangergxi

LOL. But I think it's mainly the older feminists who protested back in the 60's who see prostitution and porn as exploitation of women. There are other women who own brothels and porn studios who consider themselves feminists and don't agree with them at all (if anything, they see themselves as exploiting men).

  • Craig sounds like a hybrid of Jello Biafra and Greg Proops.

  • "Selling is legal. Fucking is legal. Why isn't SELLING FUCKING LEGAL!? Why is it illegal to sell something that is perfectly legal to give away!?" ~~ George Carlin R.I.P.

  • prostitution is legal in the form of Pornography.

As you can see Porn stars don't really have health problems because they have to do regular checkups.

The problem has more to do with how to regulate prostitution to make more tax money and to keep people safe.

  • @kingkong8974

I think most people don't have a problem with prostitution in principle, they just don't want to see it happening right under their noses. Nobody cares if their neighbor's selling her body, as long as she doesn't attract a bunch of strangers in front of their homes.

  • They legalized prostitution in New Zealand a few years ago. Now they get regular health checks and certification. Only thing you hear about it from time to time is if girls hang around corners in upper class neighbourhoods. Making it illegal is stupid. It won't stop it and all it does is push it underground. "Sex is legal, selling things is legal so why should selling sex be illegal?" (George Carlin... RIP)

  • Legal of not 90% of prostitues don't even give me a half chub.

  • Aside from prostitution, I think a good idea would be to only allow women with a sufficient level of education to have children.

This has three advantages. It means that such women can take care of their children solo, if need be. It means there'll be less stupid people, and there'll be less people period.

Sterilize stupid people and the world will improve DRASTICALLY.

  • @Shavarnarak

That, and there's less room nowadays in society for stupid people. A century ago, they could always earn a meager living digging ditches. But nowadays all the unskilled labour is mainly done in sweatshop countries, and even much of the expert work is moved to India.

The ecological niche in society for the stupid is to small to accommodate huge waves of idiots. Yet idiots breed the hardest and most of their spawn is idiots too.

  • @Shavarnarak Noone has the right to sterilize people beacause they think they are too stupid.

  • Is this that actual atheist experience channel or just made by a fan?

  • you should do what you want with your body, if you give away sex why cant you make a buck off it?

  • Mat has a skull on his T-shirt. I like it!=D

  • Legalize Marijuana!!

  • There are a lot of pros to legalizing prostitution. It gets it off the streets, it becomes taxable income which would help our deficit, you'd have tests to prevent the spread of STDs, the women who engage in it would have protection from rape, drug tests, etc. I don't see why people vilify it so much.

  • @ishtar0171 Same here. I find it difficult to understand why people see legalizing prostitution as a bad thing...

  • @ishtar0171 Because it's good to be tha Pimp.

  • @ishtar0171 Critics vilify it because they think they are better than people who seek out prostitutes or prostitutes themselves. It is class warfare because if you can dial up a $1000/hour call girl and have her in a 5-star hotel no one bats an eye. If you do that as a working man you and the woman are considered a scourge of the morals of the community, and both should be shunned.

  • @ishtar0171

it only makes things wors and hidden..

women are being kidnapped and beaten sometimes.

Here in the Netherlands it all sounds ok and it seems the girls are treated nice and with respect.

but i dont believe shit of it.

we got pedophile networks in our country ,corruption and slave tradings

look at Joran van der sloot in asia ,when he tried to traffic girls to my country.

the girls were promised golden mountains , but they will get beatings and will get raped legally.

  • @ishtar0171: I agree. Prostitution will never disappear anyway. In Germany the legal stituation has been improved in 2001, prostitutes are now protected when it comes to their earnings, they get health care etc.

It's a bit like the topic of sex ed in schools. Teens will have sex sooner or later so the only thing that really reduced teen pregnacies, abortions and STD is proper sex ed instead of preaching abstinence. The USA have 4-8 times higher rates of the above mentioned.

  • Wow, Hell must be having a pride parade right now.

  • We may put sex up on too much of a pedestal. Is it really such a big deal? Special? Sacred? I use my arm to swing a hammer to make money, would it really be that much different then swinging my other hammer to make money? What I do notice is that most of the, easy to get, higher paying jobs, that you don't need education for, are male dominated. (construction, truckdriver, etc) Perhaps that contributes to the issue.

  • OMG That's a FSM doll! I shall ask the great FSM for one myself.

May his noodley appendage place one under my pillow tonight.

    RAmen.

  • why does this caller sound like NED FLANDERS

  • You know some women intimately?

Yeah right, fuckin' creep. Stick to unconscious animals before you get locked up.

  • Should have used gay marriage as example

  • I'm not against legalizing it..Just think its stupid to pay for sex..

  • @SacredSocietyAP Take a someone on a date. Odds are you'll eat dinner, maybe see a movie, go to a theme park, some sort of entertainment, all of which usually cost money. If you or your date paid for anything for each other on that date, and you later had sex, then yes you did pay for sex, even if not directly.

  • i dont realy have many problems with prostitution being legalize.. but if its going to... grand theft auto should be banned everywhere first lol.

  • It's legal here in NZ, It's alot safer for all parties. espicially the girls ;)

  • how do i get ahold of you guys....i can teach you guys a lil more of what i have figured out about life,,..hahaha....

  • Lets get of the men hating liberal bullshit.

A whore is a whore, do not blame men for a womens mistakes, or preferences..

  • If a woman has had to resort to prostitution then she IS a victim, however it's not in the same class as other crimes imho, it's one of those things where instead of prescribing the law they should prescribe help.

  • Why not legalize selling drugs on the street while you're at it? Prostitution should never be legalized. If these women (and I use the term loosely) are so dumb that they can't get a real job then they should have their children taken away. I'm not religious but I have a huge problem with prostitution. It's demeaning to people as sexual beings and it spreads disease and violence, it has NO place in society.

  • Looks like some people need a good old Christian-side hug!!!

  • It's just kind of absurd to me that a man is allowed to walk up to some random woman at a bar, take them back to a motel or something and have completely consensual sex. and a man is allowed to just give some random person some money, but if he does both, it's a crime.

I think it's kinda bad that women's groups oppose prostitution because they consider sex as a power tool for women. Sex shouldn't be used as a power tool for anyone. whatever happened to equality?

  • legalising prostitution would eliminate violent pimps, give protitutes legal protection from violent customers, and would also put in place regulations for health and safety.

the only arguements against prostitution stems from the idea that sex is somehow 'dirty' or 'bad' or even 'impure' (think of how many times you have heard virginity referred to as 'purity')

you can have sex with whoeevr you like, and for whatever reason. it is not the governments place to decide.

  • Legalize it and you end or at least limit all of the horrible things that people bring up against prostitution:no pimps, condoms used everytime to prevent disease,no underage people working or receiving the services,no violence against the working women,no trafficing of women and children in work in the sex industry, the services would be zoned, etc. There simply is no secular reason to criminalize women who wish to sell sex and the men who wish to purchase it.Only religion saying sex is dirty.

  • This caller is a douche.

  • talk about loose pu**y better get first dibs before it has to be medically retightened in order to keep the customers satisfied

  • I disagree with matt. Legalizing prostitution is essentially allowing pre marital or extra marital sex. That is a no no by religion. Also feminists and womens groups oppose this because sex is a power tool for women.

  • Sex is not a "power tool" for women. I think you're thinking of a vibrator lol. Feminists feel that sex is a dignified thing and that women are human beings and not just meat for men to buy.

I happen to think that sex is special and intimate (marital or not). Lots of people here don't seem to value it any more than coke from a vending machine.

  • Sex may be special for you, but not for everyone. If prostitution were legalized, there could be standards put in place (I believe the legal brothels in Nevada require STD tests). Men would be less likely to go to a pimp in a back alley than an established business, which would likely LESSEN the violence experienced by these women. If two consenting adults want to have sex, it should matter if they think of it as "special" or a transaction. That's what freedom is all about.

  • Personally I don't care if prostitutes suffer from violence. I think they are disgraces to humanity and should not be called women. They are meat, not human beings.

And you could make that arguement for the sale of meth and crack. Lots of people get killed over drug deals, should we legalize them to?

  • yes, we should legalize drugs, because people are killed BECAUSE of "war on drugs". People are made criminals jsut because they like smoking a pot or crack or whatever.

  • Yay lets legalize hard drugs! I really want to see my uncle OD on heroin and die. And my friend drop out of college because he smokes too much pot. And I really want my daughter to accept money for sexual favors, that would make me so proud!

Seriously have you any dignity as a human being at all?

  • @CanadiaNecro1 that's just your emotions, I don't give a fuck about them. Victimless crimes are victimless crimes. I don't see nothing wrong here. Dignity? What's that?

  • Dignity is not being laughed at by the rest of the civilized world. Prostitution is NOT victimless crime. What about the families of the johns? they are victimized by his marital infidelity. The prostitutes might also have families.

Aside from that it's fucking degrading to women and humanity as a whole. Women are not objects for you to buy. I don't give a fuck if you have no self respect, I'm not going to allow your corrupt values to take over my community.

  • Comment removed

  • "Women are not objects for you to buy. " nope, I didn't say, that women are objects, I said that SEX is a service. Just like massage. You want a massage? You buy a service, 20 bucks for an hour. And leave emotions to yourself, they got nothing to do with rational arguments.

If you are not going to allow women to do with their body what they want, then you no better than any other religious prick, who want's to control other people's lives.

  • @CanadiaNecro1 also it's YOU who treats women as objects and not as sentient beings who can choice how to live their life and how to use their own body.

  • @CanadiaNecro1 You seem to be judging from an ivory tower there, a single mother struggling and unable to get work doesn't have time to dick about thinking of these "other ways to make money" that curiously nobody ever elaborates on, and prostitution to keep her kids fed and housed is all she's left with. She is a victim of circumstance and instead of being arrested and getting a criminal record there needs to be more systems in place to help the family instead of taking her kids away!

  • People who sell drugs, traffic illegal immigrants, steal, murder for hire, and smuggle are victims of circumstance too. Pirates are victims of circumstance, should we legalize piracy?

In the US and Canada there are ample oportunities for education and in special cases the government will help you with employment. My mother supported me by herself when I was little, and she was disabled and hadn't finished college. She did it because she worked hard and was smart. Prostututes are lazy and stupid

  • Comment removed

  • @CanadiaNecro1 it's nice that your mom was smart and worked hard. but the fact is all ppl are not smart; and they may need some other way to make money. whether that is prostitution or cleaning up shit. and I don't think it would necessarily be a "stupid" decision if a woman decided to be a prostitute if it were legal. if she was someone who really enjoys sex and she could make good money doing it, I wouldn't consider it stupid

  • @brez002 If they are that stupid then they have no right to live, ESPECIALLY at the expense of the rest of us! I'm not going to be degraded because of a bunch of whores. They need to stay on the street where they belong and get raped, beaten, robbed and murdered like they deserve. Anyone who really enjoys sex and has any self respect need not charge money for it. If they really liked sex, they'd do it for free. Whores are nothing but pathetic victims of themselves.

  • @CanadiaNecro1 wow, that really isn't worth responding to; but i'm gunna do it anyway. how exactly are u being degraded by a bunch of whores? u clearly don't give a shit about anyone who isn't intelligent, so i guess we should rape and kill all retard ppl too. and you are right they don't need to charge money for it; but if they can, why shouldn't they? and there are many so-called "whores", especially in LEGAL brothels, who are very happy about their jobs. and i wouldn't consider them victims

  • @brez002 Until women stop this behavior they will always be considered subhuman. Prostitution perpetuates the idea that women are living walking pornography, that sex is a service, and that women are here to serve men. Little girls today are taught that if they are to have any value they must look pretty to males and be good at giving blowjobs. It puts female sexuality on the market. How is that NOT degrading?

  • @CanadiaNecro1 i think that is more of a societal problem than a prostitution problem. are u against male prostitution being legal

  • @brez002 Male prostitutes(who solicit sex to women)are virtually nonexistent anyway. If it did exist I would be against it.

  • @CanadiaNecro1 w/e, we should outlaw everything that is at all degrading to women. anyway, u clearly have made up your mind, so i am ending this...

  • @CanadiaNecro1 There are more male prostitutes than female prostitutes. They are not for women though, they are for gay men. Should we ban this too? And you know that making something illegal does not make it disappear right?

  • @McSibiss No but it keeps it down in the filth where it belongs.

  • @CanadiaNecro1 What do you classify as filth?

  • @GermanChocolateCake Giving a blow-job to a diseased, fat, disgusting loser for $20. Selling one's pride. That is filth.

  • @CanadiaNecro1 By your definition clearly. Realistically, however, that may not be someone else's definition. Thankfully, we do not base the means of law and order on one persons definitions, but by the consensus of the many (at least in theory).

  • @Bardlettt and neither would women...

  • sex is a service. There are men prostitutes, there are women prostitutes. Of course, the sad part that there are also children prostitutes, but that's another issue. But basically, in general terms, sex is a service just like any other service, for example massage and it should be legal. If it is volunatary, then in most cases I have no objections to it (I say in "most cases", because I keep in mind, that someone can claim that child can volunatry agree with prostutution)

  • @MaikUniversum In the UK you're legal at age 16, and I know I was perfectly able to make decisions on sex by that age, but in the US I understand they still class you as a child at that age, as though somehow you're unable to make your own decisions or know what you want, I may be wrong there but what do you think? What would you say should be the legal age and why?

  • @ninjatoothpaste the age of consent, that's pretty tough and controversial issue, but my opinion is that in most cases, consent laws make no sense (at all), they are arbitrary and harmful to individual. So in free society there should not be "legal" age at all, because all people are different. Some are capable of making decisions when they are 14-16, some only reach that point in their 20's. It depends on various things, mostly on child upbringing and education. That would be my answer.

  • Wow he said prostitution is admirabe.

Then you wonder why atheists are known as liberal wackos.

  • Excuse me, what exactly is wrong with providing sexual services for money?

And who exactly used the word "admirable"?

  • I can see some plus sides to legal prostitution. You could issue liecences to those who have passed health tests and keep them tested regularly. Prevent the spread of disease. It would also allow prostitutes to be protected from pimps. Can have better kept brothels.

  • Legalizing prostitution... hmm

The christians have the high ground... the sexual conduct of society is too important to them to let it go unregulated. There are some places in the United States where they have lost... but they have it mostly "zipped up".

  • lol this callers pimp. legalize prostitution legalize weed legalize the need

  • yeah ganja and prostitutes... fantastic... munchies and muffs... rez and rim jobs... heheh... blunts and blowjobs! hahaha!!!! okay im done

  • Legalizing prostitution in a controlled enviroment would help out the economy I bet.

  • It seems like most atheist are atheist because of church goers.

  • Here is a question for the ones that want it legalized. Would you want to be a prostitutes baby. Not knowing the father.

  • id be more pissed i wasnt aborted

  • think about this

krrrruptidsoless, would you rather be the son or daughter of a prostitute if prostitution was legal or illegal? its not like prostitutes aren't getting pregnant now... :/ aww...and then there is always that one thing called abortion that is legal.

  • @wheresnaldo So just kill a human when you make an irresponsible decision. And the point about them getting pregnant now is my point exactly. There are enough problems. Are you serious with the abortion thing. You should add to your name the word shead.

You actually think it is o.k. to go out get some chick pregnant and then kill the embryo or baby or whatever connotation you come up with to call it. So murder is o.k. as long as you get your kicks. That's pretty messed up. Huh. cow.

  • Because my ONE opinion legalized abortion? Obviously you are in the minority, because the majority of America gave it a thumbs up. And except for cases, like when I was raped, it takes two to tango. Although, it is ironic that you called me a cow...I'm a vegetarian. Why? Because killing innocent animals is wrong IMO. Unless I was raped again, and impregnated, I would never have an abortion. Just like I'd never eat a hamburger. But, people have their own views.

  • I don't eat meat either. And I like cows because they are mellow. So when I put the word cow at the end which I do quite often. It is just for being mellow like a cow. And as far as legalizing the ability to kill. For people that just have sex and don't think of the consequences bad move. Teens alrready think they are old enough to be mothers. Look at the problems of the planet with people thinking they can do what they want and have other people pay. A child born for children doesn't compute.

  • Right so if I called someone a bitch, I really mean a female dog. And a legal prostitute would need to be of 18 years of age. So the problem isn't teen mothering. 18+=adult. And no pregnant teen THINKS they are old enough to be mothers, rather old enough to have sex with their bf's.

  • When in time has there ever been anyone who obeys the age laws. They don't think they are old enough if they are accidently pregnant. But they do walk around thinking they could be a mother in the sense of cooking and caring for babies. Which is a lot less than it actually takes to be a real parent. Which on this planet are few and far between. 99% of the people think it is just food shelter clothing. The reality of actually making a new life that will have to accommodate to and for life.cows

  • Believe it or not... Sometime last century they invented birth control.

You don't get pregnant by accident. You get pregnant on purpose or by stupidity.

  • Haha srsly

  • Are you suggesting that we should abort all babies that are on the womb of prostitutes?
