fighting is not a genetically demandind sport, although it helps to soem extent, id say genes are like 15-20 percent in this sport, rest is hard work.
I listen to doomsday by atreyu and it gets me fired up, also scream aim fire by bullet for my valentine. But it depends on if you like that type of music.
i find getting my hamstrings warmed up the best is from doing the normal stand up stretch and one at a time. but after doing front rising kicks a couple times i can see my leg going up higher each time. Its simple just keep your knee joint locked and raise your leg straight up from the hip, its not ment for using in combat its just a good stretch for kicking and hamstrings.
i thought he was joking when he pointed at the honey.
i have a question about ground work. when Fedor got on top of the other guy at 2:54 did the guy roll over because its better to be on your back side on the ground than your front?
yeh thats goood as neolestat13, but man ive been tryingg to be able to kick higher and i just cant for sum resonn lollll, and imm tall with long legs, maybe im not stretching enough? i dnt kno whyy i cant
Work out man your whole body especially your legs. Stretch (One leg at a time 5 to 15 sec count back and forth, splits 10-20 count (secs) at a time rest(stand up and move, kick and increase count time) Squats, lunges, calves and kick combos. After your whole workout stretch and warm up again. 1st stretch/warm up should last from 10 to 30 min and the after workout should last anywhere from 5-20. I can almost do full splits and kick high. I only do 10 and 10 minutes with 20 to 30 min work out.
Honey fuels the liver and speeds recovery so you are fully repaired and fresh for the next training session, it's called the melatonin cycle, i eat a few spoonfuls before i sleep.
no it doesnt take any of that all u need is skill to at least hav interesting fights to be in like ufc or pride but most people need a lot of training to get ther and yet ther can be a few talented people who dont
Lol fbman your dead wrong.. it doesnt take anything more then raw training to join something like the ufc.. you dont need experience and you dont need to win 5000 random fights to get recognized.. shit one of the fighters in the UFC is a college professor who trained himself by watching instructional videos.. all you need to know is how to handle yourself.. not years of discipline.. any one can fight.
Do you know anything about mma??? Clearly you dont because if you did you would know that not just "anybody" can fight. Theres a reason why alot of fighters have alot of fighting experience or have been wrestling or boxing for years. If you have ever taken part in any combat sport you would know how competetive they are, next time do some research instead of making up shit.
joeduh maybe this is true but some of the fighters in ufc shoudnt be there and some are only here for 1 or 2 fights and are never seen again because are not very talent and i gaurente u in about 5 years time every mma fighter will be a hardcore fighter with years of experience and be much better of the fighters of today
wt do u need 2 do 2 become a ufc fighter its my dream 2 become 1 but i cnt find the right places 2 train 4 it iam doin ju jitsu and startin boxin soon but i cnt rly anywhere tht focuses on MMA
Doom, just like getting into the NFL, the odds of getting in the UFC are Slim to None unless you are genetically gifted and have amazing talent and have been training for a minimum of around like 10 years. But there all lots of mma training facilities around the us. google mma training.
hi thanks for the replay ive infact only been training properly for mma for couple of months but did karate for a few years but it wasnt very affective compared to propa mma training and i live in england and it was alot harder to find a mma training centre but ive now managed to find 1. And yes i do realise i may never get into ufc but i ant gonna give up easily.
i did karate 4 7 years but i lost interest in it and now discoverd mma and back into training but now i do boxing bjj and mma training and weight lifting-to willo042000
thats not exactly true....not all of the fighters in the UFC have been doing this for 10+ years...in fact the majority of them are relatively inexperience (compared to Pride Fighters).
Doom....stay with it...ive been training a while and im still young...its one of my many dreams as well....good luck and hopefully you'll meet your goals
thts the kind of attitude tht will neva get u 2 professional lvl neva give up neva think ur not gd enough always beleive in ur self the more u wnt it the more likely u will achieve it like alot of top fighters say its 50% mental 50% physical
Hey what's up guys. It took a litte work, but I found the name of this song. It's "Waffle" by Sevendust. I'll definitely be listening to it while I work out and train. Throw it in the ipod and enjoy it fellas.
