Wonderful video of our town and area. I have eaten at that cafe many times-good food. For another musical video go to "A few Miles away" the second video down with the old ca plate. It is by Richard Murray and friends--about 2 minutes long--enjoy
What a great video! I live hear and I have never made the VV to Barstow run, all the way . Thanks for doing such a great job with the music and the video.
I lived in Victorville from ages 6-10 (about 2001 - 05) and I have some very very fond memories of that place. After me and the fam had moved around CA alot, we moved out to Silver Lakes and about every week or so we would go into the city for groceries, appointments etc. My life is basically the whole San Bernardino, Silver Lakes, Victorville, trips to Las Vegas and back, Mojave Desert thing.
I don't even try to explain where it is anymore haha :)
Wow - have just returned from USA - took the road from Barstow to Victorville and had breakfast at Emmajean's Holland Burger...! Great place - good service !
Its funny to see the man with the large beard in the restaurant - he was also at the restaurant, on the same chair when we were there....!
We will be back at Route 66 again, later this year !
@danagaska Emma Jean's is such a friendly place, many of the patrons are regulars -- probably several times per week! I am glad you had a good time in the USA and got to sample a slice of Americana. Come visit often!
Wow! This is truly a 5-star production! Thanks for the upload! The black and white footage along with Patsy Cline sure brings back memory to me. I have been through Route 66 in the late 1960's with my Mom and sibs and it indeed is a sentimental journey. We ate at road side bus cafe just like Emma-Jeans. I love the wide-angle shots and the clouds. I now live in Texas and this video makes me want to revisit Route 66 again.
The United States as we like in Europe.......with the melancholy ... Congratulations on this document.

Alsolutely stunning. Great choice of music, love the B&W. Only wish you had a classic Greyhound Bus to do the trip with.
Thank you, hope to see more from you.
