Top tune...work all week as a teen, spend wages on clothes, 12" singles. Clubbing in London, Purple pussy cat, Les Elites, late night buses and donor kebabs. Girls in Lycra and asking the boss for a sub on the Monday morning :) Respect to all you OLD Discoheads :)
Timeless-Caister,Brighton,Lyceum,all nighters-all dayers! funkin for the family,if only could turn the clock back, its just work work for the family these days, how things have changed-dont you miss it though?Im off for some Donald Byrd,Dominoes maybe x
This was an evergreen classic at 'The Sidings', Alderley Edge, Cheshire. And boy did we groove to this beauty. The scene of some of my finest moments...
Here in the U.S. this was released on the RFC label, but, I do remember seeing a copy on the WEA label also! I remember this being played for the first time at The ClubHouse in Wash D.C. Anyone that didn't know who Luther Vandross was before, knew after this release!!! Old school rules!!!
Great song for dancing in the 70's or eighties

Can not see the record because there is a bloody great big advert in the way!!!!!
ftr1964 1 year ago
@ftr1964: If you have not already worked it out to get rid of adverts on You Tube..
Hover the mouse over the advert and when the 'X' appears click on it. Hey Presto! Annoying advert disappears!
