@micljnes Thanks for the info. I like GB. But id have to disagree that this version is better, even slightly. GB R&B'd it up, But the original is meant to have 'spacey' more mysterious effect to it, Johny nailed it. Most people dont notice, but Johny Wilders voice on backup alot of time resembles a slight-auto-tune effect, for example at 4:15 when he says "Star of the". u know they didn't have that back then.

70s soul/funk music has always been my # 1 favorite music, so how this particular song slipped by me...I don't know. Course I always knew Heatwave, but don't think I'd ever heard this song til the other day on the radio. They didn't say who sung it but at first I thought it was maybe EW & F (Philip Bailey).
