my bridge is odd, at the low E string my bridge is kinda flush but at the high E it 0.5 cm from the body. an the screws are equally locked, I've tried to screw them differently but there's no difference.

I have 3 springs on under the backplate if that helps...

@punk434 ok the problem is that you have your guitar tuned to standard

and well your locking the nuts down and well its making it flat note soo its best to tune up a tiny bit sharper then lock the nut and always make shure your bridge is flush with the body like == and keep your fine tuners in the middle of their travel because you might need to adjust.

dude i got the white custom as well,but i'm a wimp when it comes to changing my strings,i bought mine a few weeks ago.i haven't changed the strings yet but dude, you would be my life-saver if you show me how to change the strings and tune it, i know how to do it from watching a few vids but i never really tried yet.

if the Floyd is to high up you loosen the springs at the back if it is low you tighten them

it loses tesnsion will it still work?

Well you might have to change the gauge of the strings, because a floyd is all about tension balance so you need higher gauge strings to keep the tension well, because if use regular gauge strings the tremolo may just flop around.
