It's a bad camera but these things are real. You can buy similar products online. They had man sized hover platforms in the 1950s but stopped them because they were dangerous, loud, and of little real utility.
Noisy as it is, it would seem that its powered by a small turbine jet - not new technology or "coandra effect". No - I didnt research or verify my comments.
It uses something called the Coanda effect (google it).
It's amazing (not just a toy) because it has no external moving parts, such as propellers, AND does not generate a dangerous air-intake/outtake like jets do. It produces NO downwash, and could bump into something without crashing. It could replace helecopters and drones. It's very maneuverable and can change direction instantly. The US military did visit the company. I live in the same city. (no I don't work for them!)
It may use the Coanda effect, like nearly all aircraft do...but to generate lift it must be activly acting on the air around it, hence there HAS to be downwash, and the screaming motor sound should give away the presence of something spinning, like a prop, tubine, some sort of induction, sorry, we haven't quite defeted gravity yet.

The United states army did not contract to british engineers when they already have a prototype that flys 500 feet has cameras on it and sounds ten times wuieter than this piece of crap. A country that spends 478 Billion a year on defense is not going to use something that looks like a cheap kids toy.
