I feel moved by Simon and Garfunkel's version, but although Elvis gives a very good vocal performance, the background music about halfway through is too overdone to my liking. It kinda offsets the greatness you hear in his voice. If it was more him and a piano and a little bit less background music, it would've been perfect; but otherwise it's just a above-average cover of a timeless classic. Oh well. RIP Elvis 1.8.35-8.16.77 But his spirit in heaven and music on Earth will never die.

@cdlarry1 Paul Simon may have sung it in the shower or to his possee of ass clowns he had riding his jock when it ws still in it's origins but Art Garfunkel is the one who recorded in on their Album and he is the one that sang it on all of their tours that made this song what it was (a smash hit) and what it is. The only one to do it better than Art is Elvis and like I said Art did a damn good job... He just didn't have the pipes that Elvis had and really, bottom line, no one did/does...
