  • played snake on your video.

    with a deep voice``mohahaha

    with a 12 years old voice`` lol

  • i'm buying this tablet tomorrow, nice work.

  • If I buy a wacom would I be able to do sketch on it out of the box? Or do I need to purchase additional software outside those that came with the wacom tablet?

What free software do you recomend for doing sketches on wacom?

  • @himmelsturmerIX It depends on which model; the Create, which I bought, comes with "stripped down" versions of adobe creative suite, corel painter and autodesk sketchbook, 3 really good drawing programs that would cost around $200 to buy individually. The Wacom Bamboo Create retails for about $200, but Amazon currently has it on sale for around $170.

  • the thing at 8:27 looks like an owl :D

  • nice skills....

  • Hey, anybody know how to merge layers? :P

  • 很好

  • can they make tablet pens as thin as real pencils - i find the latter much more ergonomic to hold

  • hey how did u get the lines so smooth??

i have intuos 3 and my lines are worse . if its too soft they just end thick, if its harder they simply dont get thick in the pressure highpoint at all (

  • Game Controllers?

  • I'm good with a pencil but i find tablets impossible =(

  • There are loads of Wacome tablets, ranging from about £55 to over £5000 so you can't just say 'using wacom tablet', its a flipping company.

  • I envy your talents.....shit I wish I can draw that good, I got the Bamboo Capture recently, I suck when it comes to details and shading......

  • is the wacom tablet good? i am thinking on buying it.

  • Polska kocha Cycki

  • Severely Awesome!

  • i want to learn how to draw, does anyone know of a website that has some good tutorials or lessons to learn how to draw?

  • I want to buy a wacom and am curious if the touch ability is needed if i only want to use it for illustrations and design stuff? i think it only needs to be a pen-tablet, right?

and how big should such a tablet be for this purpose? thanx in advance. =)

  • @Winterhe4rt A5 or A4. the smallest one (A6) is too small for drawing. you don't need the touch ability.

  • Does the layering with this program work well? Is the blending good? Also, how does it compare to the latest version of photoshop? Thanks if any one can help

  • Thankyou Black Friday. I can't wait to get mine in the mail

  • how do you know where the tablet will make its mark after you've taken the pen off and placed it back on the tablet? Sorry, that might be confusing.

  • I'm sorry if you have answered this question some where before. But people that do these videos never say what bamboo tablet they are using. So what was it?

  • @JLx14magic Probably because they like to show off, not inform or teach. It's the usual Me! Me! Me! syndrome that you typically get in the art world.

  • @sonicstep well if they are show casing it then it would be an nice to tell the people what model it is. Sorry didnt mean to make you mad. It was just a question.

  • @JLx14magic Look how long it's been since you posted your question and majentatudio has yet to reply... I would do a general search for 'Wacom review'. I'm sure you would quickly find something that would address your question and would be more worthwhile to watch than this.

  • @JLx14magic It looks as if he is erasing, so it is the Intuos4 or the Create.

  • @JLx14magic It's not always a bamboo tablet. There's Cintiq, Intuos, and Bamboo. Be more correct.

  • @Anonikat112 I think the point of the question is to whether its the Bamboo Fun, Connec t, Capture, or Create.

  • @JLx14magic By the looks of it he seems to be using an intuous. Bamboos are not that pressure sensitive. Ofc, I may be mistaken

  • I just got a new bamboo tablet .. =)

I only can affort to buy the Bamboo pen (small) .. ><!

Can u give me some nice tricks so I can get comfortable using it .. ^^

  • @Zmcxshottiey I am using that one right now, and there aren't really any tricks or anything. But there are certain gestures you can use with the pen ^^ Like if you swipe your pen to the left on an unactive place on a website, it will take you back a page. You can hold one of the buttons on your pen and swipe down to scroll down the page too. Pressing one of the buttons on the pen will activate the right click menu.

  • @munkiemee Thanks for the tips ^^

  • How did you get it to work? I just got mine and whenever I have a window open or a program, my tablet seems unresponsive, if I use the pen or my finger? Do I have to disable my laptop's mouse pad or is there another problem? What am I doing wrong?

  • @javenetti Hmm, when you plug it in it does take some time for it to start. For me it takes about 2 minutes. Also, you have installed the tablet software using the cd haven't you? If these tips don't work, contact Wacom. Their details should be on their website.

  • please tell me what model of tablet are you using in there?

  • what size tablet would be a suitable one for a beginner?

  • @EbonyDollable you shouldnt look for the size, just see if the tablet has the abilites you want. specially that it works with photoshop pen pressure.

  • @HikaruNoIkaros ok then thankyou for the advice i will take heid!! great tutorial too

  • I wanted to get a tablet cuz using a mouse is annoying! I'm okay at using a mouse, but i'm better at pencil drawing! Is a tablet like drawing with a pencil?

  • @peblezQ A tablet isn't really just like drawing with a pencil, but it's definitely like drawing with a tablet! And that's a good thing. Definitely better than drawing with a mouse.

  • Also whats the best part about it? You get to use Photoshop for free as it comes along with the tutorial CD. I definitely recommend the Bamboo Tablet.

  • What if I just use a joystick instead?

  • Awesome! I just got mine today so hopefully watching this will give me a see to how a tablet is. :D

  • PM me if anyone needs PS CS5 Extended serial keys. :)

  • joystick looks ugly to me

  • is this product good for making textures for like 3D modeling?

  • @noobiegameartist

it can do anything you use it for, it's basically do enhance drawing flexibility on computers... you could do everything on a mouse but not as fluidly and easily...

  • game addiction XD jk

  • Lol, would love to see how good the people saying they're good at drawing actually are.

  • what tablet are you using?

  • @bluejellies9 Look at the title, the end.

  • @SuperFurbyy it only says "wacom tablet", that's not specific.

  • i am a really good mouse drawer but i am better with pencil... i cant wait till i get one of these babys

  • Finally a vid that isn't running 500 mph so that you can actually see WTF is going on.

  • @whiteCourier there is a smoothing feature thatfills out lines and makes them less jagged,it's not on the tablet though but it's on photoshop and flash and most adobe things.

  • how do you get so smooth lines, i have a wacom intuos4 and photoshop cs5 but my lines are all shaky D:

    got any tips to share?

  • Really nice strokes.

I'd like to know how you set up your brushes?

  • Yeah cause whenever i makes sketches, they're kickass artworks -.-

  • @00001jon No problem. :)

  • @00001jon

Draw lines and colors on separate layers.

  • Oh... this is the new versions of remote controls... ive got to get one... Nice job by the way, If you ever plan to make one of these in real life ill try to be the first person to buy it... atleast it wont say Made from china

  • I am planing of buying a bamboo tablet. I am really good on drawing with pencil, but really suck on drawing with the mouse. (That's why gonna buy it). Do you get used to it as you draw with a regular pencil? Or there is something "assy" about the tablet when drawing/sketching....

  • @rico6111

I always found something "assy" about drawing with a regular tablet like the Intuos or the bamboo. Maybe that's because I have had not much practice with drawing on it. Last week I got an EP121 tablet PC, you should check it out. You can literally "draw on the screen".

It's more expensive than a tablet by a large margin... but if you're in the market for a laptop PC and a tablet it's worth it.

  • @60spaure or spend 2000 bucks, like i did, and get a Cintiq. :) I couldn't figure out or had the patience to develop the hand/eye coordination needed for the Bamboo. I finally gave up and invested in the naturalness of drawing right on the screen.

  • @cjs33139 You answered rico6111 answer but I got the message. Just put "@rico6111" before your message. :)

  • @nico6111

Sorry for another message, youtube put a limit to the lenght

The toph drawing is my first drawing with a regular tablet and the "OC 1" is my first drawing with the EP121: ispaure.deviantart(dot)com

So you be the judge. I think it's harder to get the right curve with a regular tablet since you don't see the pencil while you're drawing and it has a longer learning curve.

    Good luck! :)

  • @rico6111 I have one you get used to it after a while it's really useful since it comes with photoshop elements and other stuff :D

  • @rico6111before i start. i have no idea what assy means XD anyways... its basically the same. it could take a little getting used to, but nothing much. if i knew what assy meant then i would answer that too. sorry ;p

  • @Jjtrules For me, assy means...."messed up" xD

  • @rico6111 i see xD umm.. i guess the bamboo pen and touch has one little thing.. i heard that alot of people getting them said they didnt work xD i might be wrong though ;p i also heard the touch isn't that great, like a little useless xD. i got bamboo pen :'~) and its good O_O i guess getting that is my recomendation ;D

  • @rico6111 the biggest thing to get used to is the fact that when the pencil is not on the board then it doesnt move and getting used to not looking at the pencil when you draw.

  • @rico6111 Im good on PC and hand so imagine wen i get my hands on one...wait it will have no effect?

  • @rico6111 i am buying one this friday :3 from what i've heard, it's something you get used to the more you use it. i've also heard it has a "pencil on paper" feel to it. so i do not belive it will feel awkward everytime you use it. hope this helped ;)

  • @rico6111 It's pretty much the same, but it will take like 1-2 hours to get used to it) You'll like it for sure)

  • @ISaNiAI 1-2 hours per day...or just once. =P

  • @rico6111 no theres nothing bad with the tablet at all, me a owner of one and kick ass with a pencil but not with the mouse:

the only downtime about it is having to look up so basically hand-eye courdnation

since you have to know where your hand is, also its awkward at first but once you get used to it its better with a pencil,

    programs i reccomend with it

    photoshop

    paint tool sai

    corel painter

  • all of those can be torrented by the piratebay or on utube

  • Comment removed

  • The trick is to draw an outline by pencil, transfer/scan it onto a computer, then trace over it with a mouse. Then follow up with detail. All layer by layer. It saves HUGE amounts of time and great work is easily produced. A graphics tablet, depending on how good your hand/eye coordination is, can boost your production speed even further, but no guarantees for everyone.

  • @rico6111 Dont get a bamboo unless u just plan to do little sketches...if your really gonna put in work get a Intous4 or a cintiq for professional works

  • @RiikChan Ow that's what I do actually. Sketching is the most thing I do at the moment, so this just sounds awesome...

  • @rico6111 i just got a wacom bamboo, im fifteen, and my drawing is decent, i was like how the fuck am i guna draw the same on the tablet, dads like try it, week later im drawing the same if not miles better!!!! get one bro

  • @rico6111 i draw with a mouse, trust me you get use to it on the first half a year, :-) but tablets have so much more experience and is closer to the real thing, im pretty good on mouse, still better in pen/pencil, so im going for the tablet

  • @rico6111 it's assy for being not physically a big pen but it's awesome cause ctrl+z is always there for you :P

  • @rico6111 Drawing with a tablet is very much different from drawing on paper. I don't recomend the bamboo tablet, because it feels like plastic on plastic when you are drawing. It is much better then drawing with a mouse, and you get used to it, but I would rather bye an on screen drawing tablet, like f.eks. Intuos or something:D

  • @rico6111 you can compare it as drawing with a pen, it isnt as grove as a pencil its more like smooth. that makes it a bit harder to draw as perfect lines as with a pencil on paper, but after using it alot you will get the hang of it ;)

  • @rico6111 If you are good drawing with a pencil, you probably are good with the wacom too, but drawin with a wacom is not really the same as a pencil, try before you buy:P

  • @0thekawasakiboy0 So true

  • @0thekawasakiboy0 why would u even begin to compare a wacom with a pencil!?

a wacom is a totally different thing. its like comparing your pocket calculator with a pc.

  • @CT2507 A wacom Cintiq is more like simluating a pencil better than bamboo or intuos.

  • @0thekawasakiboy0 Do you have any idea on how easy it is to use these things? It seems that it would be much easier to use a tablet that displays what you're drawing on the tablet itself but those seem to be reeeeeally expensive. At least from what my very little research tells me.

  • @rico6111 You only need to know the basic knowladge of a program (most of the times photoshop) you need to know where hue, brush, opacity, and other functions are. It's very simmilar as with the pencil, there might be a slight difference for some people, but you get used to it very fast and easily.

  • @rico6111 you know it's like learning russian(i've studied it for two years) if you keep trying, you'll get it. repetition, repetition, repetition.

  • Got my wacom pen and touch tablet today. It works really good. I am now practicing my corel painter illustrations!

  • My tablet is supposed to come in today. WHERE ARE YOU?

  • how do you move the pen around with out drawing something. i just found out about these tablets and they are amazing. PLEASE TELL ME!!

  • @Psnluke425 You life-the pen above the tablets 3-5 mm, and move it around.

  • Getting mine July6th!! So excited!! C:

  • getting my wacom bamboo touch limited edition tommorow:X:X cant wait to get it

  • was anyone else watching odd future skate before this?

  • guys its never too late for drawing, i started last year and i become always better and better..give it a try :)

  • fantastic, nice video. Only wish i could draw

  • You got a great hand there

  • quit bitching and get off your dead ass and practice practice practice practice.

do you think this artist came out of the box like that?

    that's years of practice

  • @FlavaRhymez w00t? you don't see the screen. Only if you are having Monitor tablet. It's like black table and youre moving it and if you'll buy it you'll have "much" good tutorials to train how to... etc..

  • everyone thinks if you have bamboo it's easier. But i say it to you it's not. You need to have in blood to be good artist etc. I have wacoom too i was really happy first day i was trying and i was really confus how can other draw that beautifull. But i recommend if you want to be artist etc... your chooise. Bye

  • I don't understand how you draw on them. Isn't it dificult like if you want to continue a line? How do you know where you're drawing?

  • @DirtyLittleSpirit it's art dude it's not that hard if you know how to draw =P

  • Damn i suck

  • The program you were using looks really awesome, so do the sketches. :3

  • Watching all the easy-but-off strokes poof away, like rewinding the world until you get a magic trick right. This makes me more confident about drawing.

  • Great job! what kind of tablet did you use? i'm looking to get the Bamboo Fun in order to make designs for t-shirts.

  • I got kinda bored so I skipped to the end......great job though

  • should have added some good music but i ain't complainning, good job

  • finally a sketchbook pro without a car in in or an ipad!! :) thnx for not drawing a car lol and nice drawings :)

  • this is amazing greatwork, im getting a tablet soon ;)

  • Does anyone know which wacom tablet being used in this vid? :P

  • By watching your clip and others on Wacom sketching i'v decided as an Artist to go back to school by teaching myself to do it to on a Digital Tablet. Wow just step back in time and i'm back in kindengarden (1963). Not evident at all... Johnny 8-0

  • my thought process went like this: watch? no.. wristband? no... transformer!... nope.. then i read the description and found out it was a controller >.<

  • @gustavo69er lol, I'm glad you admitted all that first because it's exactly what I just did. :)

  • Well done.

  • @PattyDLuffy

I recomend any of the wacom tablets, either bamboo (more for recreation/fun) or the intuos4 (more proffesional and is much better than the bamboo. I have the intuos4 medium, its costs like $350 but it is very worth it for what you get. It works on mac and pc and it works with pretty much all programs.

  • Do u know were i can buy a stylus? i lost mines

  • fuck you for being so talented

  • One question.. Although I am good with pencil on paper, when it comes to digital drawing with pc mouse it takes me HOURS!! and the outcome is quite bad. How much can a tablet improve that, and can I have the smoothness and detail that I get with normal pencil?? What tablet should I buy?? and what is the average cost of a tablet. Sorry for my lack of knowledge. I am quite new to this. Oh.. and the tablet can link with any program? both for windows and mac? Thanks a lot!!

    An artist in despair!

  • what program is this

  • Nice one, i really like the way you used the arrangement of concepts. I really wish paper could offer the same flexibility!. :)

  • Is it hard to use Wacom Tablet if you know how to draw on paper with a pencil?

  • This dude...

    He has some Serious Skills.

  • ur a master dude . i just got mines and im horrible

  • i am just learning to draw as a hobby and would like to buy a wacom tablet, although many use tablets for drawing , is it easier to draw with pen and paper and scan the image to pc to colour it ?

  • Not necessarily, it's personal preference. Coloring on the computer can be even trickier. I def recommend a wacom tablet but I also believe that you should first practice with pencil on paper and get your hand going before forking out for a tablet. Practice practice practice is the key:) G'Luck!

  • can someone plz tell me the preferences for the pen... or what kind of settings you used?! I love designing concept things, however, I always pick the wrong settings, and that sucks,.... at lease how to make the line flow like it does...:)

  • I find it really difficault to use :-( i am so much better to draw with a pencil and a paper. I just got my Bamboo today, (you can see my video with the car) its my first try with the bamboo. I think its because there is no screen to view at, you have to look at the computer screen. You are really good.

  • @Learncountriescom it does feel weird at first. It takes a bit to get used to.

  • Great product-design sketch! I enjoyed watching your technique of over-spraying and then erasing/trimming!

  • Is it hard drawing with a tablet?

I heard it takes some time getting used to.

  • @kyuubi167 I've had my tablet for about 3-4 years now, I find it A LOT easier than traditional drawing. First time I tried it, I drew something I could never draw traditionally. It's just so much easier. The thing with photoshop is that you can't mess up your drawing, you can just press ctrl+z and it never happened, and you got all these layers, and perfect colors and all these amazing tools. Buying a tablet kick-started my passion for art, and I got into an awesome art school thanks to it. Get1

  • go Wacom!!

  • what drawing program did you use?

  • @NightmareWitchCarol looks like ArtRage but i'm not too sure

  • @NightmareWitchCarol actually i lied, i think it's Sketchbook Pro ^^

  • @JustJoellio it says sketchbook pro in the description

  • @theshinywolf ahah my bad :P

  • @JustJoellio hehe

  • Whoa how much is this :O

  • 'm gettin mine either easter or next 2 weeks ;) Cant wait!!!!

  • Simply awesome friend!!!!! :) I envy you!!!!!!

  • Nice video! ... some background music maybe? lol

  • sick

  • omg so intense >:D

  • you have some sick skills there mate. Only the way you manage to draw ONE line at a time, and that it looks so amazing at the end. That is sick... credits from Norway!

  • TOO EXPENSIVE FOR MEE!!

  • @littlejapan3 are you a student? If you are, join the education community, so that you can download the software for free... I am actually downloading sketchbook pro for free at this moment.....:)

  • @MrMaybeimdreaming100 I am currently a Design student... how do i join the "education community?"

  • @wardogdelta you just have to join it... sign in with an account and then you join it, and fill in the fill in stuff, and then your in. I can send you the link in your channel.

  • omg I'm getting a Wacom tablet too!! As a early b-day present!! I am so excited!!!

  • I used to have a bamboo pen but my lost my stylus! :''(

  • Which Wacom tablet is this?

  • I'm getting a tablet next month, and I unfortunately have to wait for my birthday. (Feb. 26th♥) I'm getting all the information I can before getting it, and I hope it's worth it. ☺

  • @crazyheadbambi me too

  • I just got my bamboo fun today (largest size)

I'm already having problems with it :(

when I have certain windows open the pens calibration messes up, and wether it's turned on or off the touch function won't work. Any help? ._. It would be GREATLY appreciated..
