Insurance companies should not be allowed to drop someone if they get sick or go up on their price because someone gets old. Healthcare and business profits are like oil and water they cannot mix.

It doesn't conform to any other successful working models of Health Care used by other Nations.

What im saying is that health insurance should be FREE! its a basic need that the government should pay with our tax monies. of course no hospital ever denies any help but afterward we get that disgusting bill for hundreds and hundreds of dollars, its ridiculous... look. Canada, we make fun of canadians all the time, but they have a healthcare system we should envy.. its fuckin free for everyone!! and by the way, hate kool-aid ;)

nothing is free, the healthcare system is paid for by tax dollars. Where do you think those tax dollars are going to come from, thin air? Don't say the rich because even if we taxed 100% of revenue of the rich it still would not be enough to run normal government business and healthcare.
There is no such thing as FREE, everyone will pay.
Also point of note, canada is moving toward a free market system like ours due to their system entering bankruptcy. It also take 3-5 times as long there.

I don't think the Dems ever thought they would get everything they wanted in a health care bill or if it would even be possible. To think that they have gotten this far when in the past it seemed impossible is amazing. This is a good start but don't think this will be the last we hear about Health Care even if the bill passes. The Reps will fight back with a vigor not seen in recent times. This will become there battle cry. Why do you not one Rep supported this. They are united for once. WOW.

Just like the town hall meetings that happened recently, they have to pass some kind of health care bill before Xmas before they go home and realize just how much opposition there is to this from their constitutes. The Reps (still evil) are playing smart (well a little smarter) and siding against this because they are hoping people are mad enough to vote out the Dems in 2010. The DNP is warning congress to say NO or they will lose seats in 2010.

Most of the problems that exist would have never happened without the federal reserve.. There was a very good reason congress was given the ability to mint COIN only.
