Hey, my birthday is coming up and I'm getting a new Mountain bike, what do you recommend under $1,000? Nice video btw. ;)

@cloneman222 Difficult to say mate, I'd probably look at something used, will give you great value for money, Kona, Specialized, Giant, Iron Horse, Norco, Trek... all that kind of thing will be pretty good. Have a great birthday!!

what settings do you use on the gopro? I cant get mine full screen well havent tryed I use r4 if thats makes sense

@15willo I use r3 for most of the videos I shoot, seems to work pretty well, great quality and gives pretty good slo-mo.

@OBLIVIONmonkey Thanks mate. Tips... difficult to say really, worth just trying it out and see what you think. See if you can get hold of a cheap used bike, something like a Kona, Norco or similar with about 6" + of travel. That'll see you through most rough stuff but also be ridable around the place. Enjoy is the main thing, it's awesome fun! :)

@MrLynx1677 Yeah, hope you mend quick! Nothing worse than injuries keeping you off the bike. They've changed the trail a bit now, but it would have been cold as anything today!!

is that the DH or FR version of the trek?

@hellohello1700 This was the 2009 FR version of the Trek, great bike, but I upgraded to 888s up front instead of the standard Totems as couldn't get on with those forks. Now have a Transition TR250 which is awesome. For me it's the perfect bike.

How do get back up? I've heard Theres downhill mtb trials at drie ski resorts and u ride the ski lift thing. Is this how this one is?

@Clemsonkilz There's an uplift service in a van, so it's a good way to session the trails a few times during the day.
