They should have included Al Michaels and Keith Jackson as "friends", since they had the World Series that year. Another siginificant omission: Richard Dawson, who was heading up their hottest daytime show in "Family Feud".

The announcer of these 1979 Fall Previews was "The Voice of ABC" and Ghoulardi himself, the late Ernie Anderson.
