So this is how I see the whole "selling out" situation. Against Me!'s music has changed, that's obvious. But bands always change. Sounding the same your whole career would just be boring. If they truly "sold out", they would be writing knockoff love songs like you hear on the radio, and it's pretty obvious Against Me! doesn't just write about cheap love. Changed their sound, yes. Sold out, never.
