One thing we can hope for in China is it's a country willing to reform. Remember when the United States was only 40 years old, human rights abuse was just as severe. I have visited China in 2007 and they are a lot more liberal and tolerant than some might think. I was working at the U.N. the day this happened. We were shocked. Chinese staff were afraid of a new revolution. They gave us notes to give the Secretary-General. I was working at the U.N. the day this happened. We were shocked. Chinese staff were afraid of a new revolution. They gave us notes to give the Secretary-General. These were taken as we entered the building. There was also a memorial with the Lady Liberty put up near the U.N. by Chinese Americans. We will never forget the brave students who lost their lives to give the Chinese citizens a voice in goverment and freedom. May their goals be achieved! Communism=Fascism=Nazism=Death!

I am a Chinese-American. I was at the Square two weeks prior to 6/04 as a tourist and three years later. I could not believe that thousands of people were killed reported by the American media. According to the Chinese source, only a small handful. I went back did my own in-depth research, I walked away believe the Chinese version was much closer to the real truth. I have nothing to gain saying this. But this was a real wake up call for me to see a HUGE Black Propaganda at work by the US.

But at least it is more practical than communism. The American government believe they can get more allys by "converting" others into democracy. Don't worry, that's not the case. People who wanted power themselves used these students to do thier dirty work. Thier cause itself was mislead, so I would have to conclude that communism is not perfect, but it works.

PGMA What are you, clueless?Where exactly are the re-education camps in America?;who is impeding your or my freedom of speech?the mass starvation?(and be realistic;the numbers in places like Korea, ,Cambodia and Russia were in the millions);the literal class warfare comment referred to China'a Cultural Revolution;nothing close to that has hapenned in America;so I understand you're probably a member of "The Softest Generation",but there have been some REAL HARDSHIPS in Man's history.
