also very good for quick and easy communication, from what ive seen it had fairly poor video quality playback for some youtube video's, but then again that may just be me.

i bought mine yestoday, my review would be:

GOOD POINTS: perfect for an entry level blackberry, has everything you need, recommended age group 15 - 18, very stylish and modern, very easy to use keypad (even if you have fat fingers), good sound quality, picture quality on COMPUTER is VERY GOOD!

BAD POINTS: no anti-shake on camera, sometimes come out a little smudged but if you can hold the phone fairly still when you a take a photo isnt a problem.

4/5 for this phone and would recommend!

why do people talk about the screen resolution comparing it to the bold? the bold is not the best blackberry. ( yes its amazing) BUT the "javelin" has a better screen display and camera.. so i dont get why people are so focused on the bold thats all. this phone looks are works great. Optical trackball is a plus
