In NLBLLG, you don't get any quickenings. That's why it's NLBLLG - No license board, low level game.
You have to activate Belias to get through a certain gate, this can be done sooner or later depending on your preference. But there is no quickening activation in this challenge.
You can still accumulate LP without getting experience though. Ba'Gamnan's folks can be chained by exiting the screen as soon as one of them dies. You can kill the chicks during the Cluckatrice hunt and reload, too.
I think you can buy one at that point in the game, but I recall finding mine in a chest on the Leviathan. Knowing FFXII's treasure system, you may need to reset a few times until the right item appears.
Defeat the Urutan Eater, do the mini-sidequest with the Sandsea Moogle and pick them up in the area with the Moogle. I'm not sure if I've recorded the whole process, but I think I recorded *some of it* in my NLBLLG Urutan Eater video (check my NLBLLG playlist).

Dark works well, especially you cast Reflect on the entire party and have them bounce the spell of repeatedly. He will go down in no time at all. :)

Nobody suffers from silence in NLBLLG, because the only times you will use spells is casting Fire against the flans in the sewer and Blizzard on the Mimic Queen. Some characters have Cure and other basic white magicks, but Potions are more effective and faster.

Well, uh, I *started* it three times, but made it to Henne Mines once. I don't remember ToR bosses very well because I've only cleared it on one playthrough (if my memory serves me correctly). I'll make sure this run is the most successful one (I even redid the Ghis/Vader fight without spending my Warp Mote to allow me more room this time around), of course!

It will be my last resort (if nothing else works, I will). It is a problem to find enemies who immobilize you at this point in the game.
I will first try getting the big birds in the westersands to cast Protect on me by using a Reflectga Mote. If that doesn't work, I'll look for other ways.
where can i find the Eksir Berries? i did finish the Urutan Eater sidequest. Also how do i get the hastega mote?

Eksir Berries cancel his attack boost ability and the ability that lets him chain attacks more easily.

never got any of those, one of he things he eats got the kill shot i think so no loot for me :(
btw how can you be level 1 and 2 at his point, i played normally to this point without grinding and i am lvl 14
btw finally got to kill it, got lycky with mist attacks, got a 4 chain :D

Quickenings are cheap at this point. The enemy doesn't even get a chance to fight back.
And if you don't engage in any battles with randomly encountered enemies, you can stay at the lowest levels. The bosses don't give experience.
