Don Gillis is a true announer we need more of in sports which sad and he called a good match to make it enjoyable for the television viewers. I wish I had the chance to see Candlepin bowling but didn't anyhting about it till I discovered Wolfmans channel.
If there's any idiots here it's the ignorant retards who want to start up pointless arguments instead of be open-minded and at least TRY to learn about this.
I remember a quote a while back: Don't judge that which you don't know.
At 6:56, you can hear pins falling that weren't hit by either bowler on the show. I don't think I've ever heard that. Would people bowl on other lanes during tapings?
During each matchup on the championship show, whoever the winner of the current match is going to face in the next round, is the one who is warming up a few lanes down. So that would mean Tom Olszta was the one who you heard warming up.
The noise you here was probably Tom Olszta warming up on the side along with the other bowlers.....They would let you warm up before bowling in the match and Tommy was next up....Alot of people at this event,AWESOME
I was sitting next to Janet's father, he was a nice guy and talked to me almost every box. ha ha Then that little wimpy guy was sitting in front of me, with the red shirt on (you can see us all on lane 10)
Actually you might be looking at the wrong guy, Tim has darker hair, and he's definitely not a wuss! ha ha I'm the guy with the baseball cap on backwards.
You know what's funny? When I watched this show as it happened with my parents (I was two months shy of my 8th birthday), they said, "This will fill the void that the Red Sox left us." Remember, baseball was on strike when this show aired.
I love how I'm 17 and I'm watching this. Zones Saturday, wish me luck!!

@Wolfman12395 10-pin takes skill? In 10-pin any idiot can throw a 200 game. That is not skill. Come to candlepin and tell me if you can hit 200

I used to play Candlepin Bowling when I was living in Halifax.
Definitely a tough game to play as strikes are next to impossible.
I'll stick with 5 Pin for now.

The next person to bowl was warming up on the right side of the house (probably Olszta).

Didn't know that. Thanks.

That wimpy guy was Tim Mitchell, the alternate referee next to Don Riley.
