Apparently unlike everyone else here, I've seen the movie but not read the book. I LOVED the movie, & I'm afraid the book might disappoint me. From the fans here, it doesn't seem like that will be a problem; I just can't imagine how the mannequins will be covered in a book. It was so creative in the movie.

I saw the movie recently and the books and movie are really different. For one, Becky is British just like Luke and I didn't understand why in the movie they were portrayed as Americans (Luke being British-American). The books have a lot of shopaholic excuses! The books are different, but I'm sure they won't disappoint you.

omg! Christian Bale is just how I imagined Luke Brandon haha! But I don't imagine Suze and Rebecca looking like that at all! :/ One thing's for sure Becky is supposed to be a brunette and Suze is supposed to be a blonde.

I love this trailer but they chose to masacere the book. First off it takes place in london, IDK if they mentioned wheather or not Becky was blonde, brunette or a red head. But I visioned her as a brunette. I love this girl as an actress but I cannot picture her as becky bloomwood. I would much prefer if they didn't release the movie in 09. And they reshot it all. With Becky Herbst from General Hospital as Becky Bloomwood. Becky Herbst would make a great Becky IMO.

i really like the actress who is playing suze, but not for this part, suze is supposed to have long blonde hair and be very beautiful where she is more quirky looking, but shes still pretty

Once again: the actress I put in this video is the one who's gonna be Suze in the movie! Even though Suze is blonde in the novel... And then: the movie is set in New York, as the second novel, but the plot will be that of the first one! IS it clear now? :))

Cant believe theyve changed the story so much. I absolutely love the books and am so disappointed theyve cut out the whole English girl bit and chosen NY instead. I do love NY but still, shes an English character and they shouldve kept it as that!
