Claiming that this is free energy is a big misunderstanding on your part. The aluminium gets used up, and you need tremendous amounts of electricity to make aluminium, so this is not free energy.

This is great ButchnSteph1; I've been working on the same thing as a lighting solution for slums and villages in Africa and the Middle East and for disaster relief. I've been using sodium hydroxide crystals with aluminum can tabs (using stainless steel scrubbing pads for my cathode) but you are right, salt water works fine with aluminum foil and this is really important for people to know.
