Is Economics in One Lesson a book worth reading? i mean i've read some critics and they colide in the same answer: yes great book bla bla bla. what i mean is, i have got no clue whatsoever about economics, will it really help me?
I plan on reviewing a lot of books really soon. I'm in the process of getting myself into the position to have time to do all the things I want to do. :)
"No more smoking! *laughs* ...Well I guess if you really like it you can..." - I was in tears, I really enjoyed both of these responses. Great job!
I see you're a fellow gungfu brother! Do you know of Phillip Starr? He wrote a book called "Making of a Butterfly" I think you would really enjoy/appreciate.
What a simple and fantastic response to this question. Invest in yourself. I uploaded a response (just then, it's hasn't been approved yet) however you sir, get my vote. A great example of how investing in yourself would eventually spread into others is this very video. Cheers!
Thanks man. Glad you like it. I see so many people trying to change so much, but I think they should focus a little closer to home first and that would naturally create the large change they're looking for.
Books are indeed a great source for learning and indeed do change lives. I speak from personal experience. When I get some time I'll try and post the books that have had a positive impact in my life.
A great idea to suggest books and give self improvement tips. Really useful. Its always good to see a person talking to you about these things once in a while rather than books doing it all the time.
Thanks for lending me 'Your Money or Your Life' before. This is definitely a key book everyone should have. Even if you don't follow their plan step by step, it can help you change the way you think about how you handle money. I only wish I'd read it back when I was in my early 20s and screwing up my finances like crazy.
:) Yeah, I'm going to do a separate video just for that book. I finally started reading "Brandsimple" at my Grandma's house. I'm going to do a video about that book and Zag. I'm just through the first chapter but it has been good so far. Yeah, "Your Money or Your Life" is a REALLY good book. You don't have to follow all of it, but there are true gems of information in that one.
merry xmas mtk ;) and happy new year :D, great video homie so what u gonna do today in christmas day? ;D i wish i coud be with you in christmas day and hav some fuun yeeee boi ;): ***PEACE** homie.
Book are just not my forte i prefer movies, music, and different forms of technology for example laptop or camera.
Technology is Power
Books are just knowledge.
You will probably respond with something like the more knowledge you have the more power you have which isn't quite true. I view it as the more technologically advanced we become the more powerful we become.
That's just one of the ways I go about acquiring knowledge. You can sign up for classes, volunteer, practice drawing/painting, play a piano, get instructional DVDs, etc.
Technology = knowledge ;) Think about it. Any new piece of technology you have to learn how to use, or implement. Technological advancement = increased knowledge. :) I have to drop a quote from Mortal Kombat 3:
Because I'm already pretty fluent. I've been into Chinese culture ever since the Karate Kid days (I know that should be Japanese, but Chinese always caught my eye.)
I think you should give us a sample... Hrmmm. A good video for your fans would be like... "Ask me how to say " " in a video responce" You would prolly get a lot of people asking how to say their names in Chinese.
Hey, that's a pretty good idea. I actually started another account up for Youtube Taiwan so I could rock out a video totally in Chinese from time to time. Search houziKing in Youtube. You'll find them (2 so far.)
I would go with traditional characters. It will be easier to learn simplified after learning traditional than trying to learn traditional after learning simplified. I'll post a video about the book I'll use sometime shortly after January second to give people a chance to get their hands on it if they wanted to follow along in the book.
My brother thinks the meaning of "Invest in yourself" is to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on yourself by buying things like baseball season tickets or PlayStation 3.
sup you just logged on xbox so i decided to say hi not on xbox cause im to lazy to plug in my headset in my guitar for guitar hero but yeah sounds good about the chinese lessons next year i will be checking that out peace man
