Medium was written in the 1980s while Allison DuBois was still a child. The true story happened in Washington, D.C., but I don't think any of the episodes portray this. I know the true story behind most of the episodes and some of the crimes happened in AZ and TX as depicted, but some happened in MD and DC.

The last episode: You don't know for certain if that ending was reality. That can so easily be explained as a vision to tell Joe not to get on the plane in the first place.
