My state is laughing this off almost and has yet to propose a realistic plan that can be implemented. The reason? The equipment to make and scan this monster card from hell isn't affordable and most states not only are dragging feet but silently hope it never works. My current estimate suggests that in order for this card to ever get made in NH the cost of a license will have to rise anywhere from 100-200 dollars. Crazy and impractical if I may dare say so.

Hello I just wanted to say once we all have this new Real ID it will be possible to implement "know your customer" part of the patriot act and that means we will have to have this ID scanned/read for every purchase we make. We will then have a national sales tax based on one's income to pay the cost of the monitoring of every transaction involving money.

Beg to differ, you need a license to drive in any state in the USA, however, that license is issued and controlled by the state, not the fed gvt. The fed gvt only requires special licenses if you are transporting goods across state lines, hence, the ICC, interstate commerce commission.

Ask any computer scientist about electronic voting vs. paper voting and they will all say that without a paper trail of some sort, computer records are meaningless.
If you don't do random sample comparisons between a paper trail and corresponding computer records, a single person could change the outcome of an entire election on the spot, or it could be predetermined programatically and NO ONE would know.

My state is laughing this off almost and has yet to propose a realistic plan that can be implemented. The reason? The equipment to make and scan this monster card from hell isn't affordable and most states not only are dragging feet but silently hope it never works. My current estimate suggests that in order for this card to ever get made in NH the cost of a license will have to rise anywhere from 100-200 dollars. Crazy and impractical if I may dare say so.

You can CHOOSE whether or not to have a cellphone. If you want to fly in an airplane or go into a federal building, you will NEED to have Real ID and you will NOT have a choice in this. The only reason people get sentenced is because the Federal Judge railroads the jury & forbids much of the information to be presented to the Jury, there are no cameras that can be used as evidence against the Judge. The ones that win is due to one powerful individual who is not intimidated by the Judge & someone who is actually capable of using their brain to properly process the presented information.

After we get used to the real ID then they want to enchip us. That is the next step. But even if you think that the real Id will protect us, you are sadly mistaken. The real Id will make us further Enslaved. Be aware. Criminals are very clever. You will be more susceptible to identity theft than ever before. From what I've read, Germany has done tests. Even fingerprints, retina scans, and facial recognition which seem to be "so safe" are easilly forgible. Please-No-Real-id-Danger!

Perhaps the most alarming aspect of Real ID is that it transfers to the government ultimate control over citizens' movements. The ID card of a citizen not in good standing could have a hold put on it, just like a credit card can. If your ID card is declined, you will be unable to travel, access your money, get a job, enter buildings, or go about the basic routines of life until you have restored favor with your government.

Beg to differ, you need a license to drive in any state in the USA, however, that license is issued and controlled by the state, not the fed gvt. The fed gvt only requires special licenses if you are transporting goods across state lines, hence, the ICC, interstate commerce commission.

to monitor a persons movements does not violate the constitution, and yes i know the law.. i have a degree in civil law. Tracking your movements it totally legal. You move around in public and have no expectation of privacy while in public, thus, monitoring your movements it quite legal. Its done every day by traffic cameras, security cameras,, etc........ oh yes dear, its very legal. It has not a thing to do with search and seizure.. lol.

I would have absolutely no problem with computer ballots IF it were impossible for cotes to be flipped and if there were a paper trail that the public could access. As for the fact that public servants are not loyal to the public , you just say that as an " oh well what are ya gonna do" there should be some outrage. Ask any computer scientist about electronic voting vs. paper voting and they will all say that without a paper trail of some sort, computer records are meaningless.
If you don't do random sample comparisons between a paper trail and corresponding computer records, a single person could change the outcome of an entire election on the spot, or it could be predetermined programatically and NO ONE would know.
Please learn more. Patriotism is not the same as ignorance.

Real ID is just a precursor to VERICHIP. The Government is testing to see how easy it is to force it's citizens into obeying their commands.Once Real ID phases in they will be ready for phase two...Verichip!. I learned that on a car forum. People were complaining that the gps signal in their cars would go out, they changed the window tint to a less metallic version and their "problem" went away. I do things perfectly legal now like speak my mind, love my country but have massive dissent of my government may be punishable by death. Dissent may be treated as treason soon. It kind of already is, maybe I'm to much for them. True patriots, not the fakers, seem to be viewed as somthing bad.

As a car windshield cannot be tinted, the tint used on the door windows would and could not affect their GPS. The signal could still very easily go right thru the glass. If that were the case, it would also affect the use of the cell phone as well, as they both operate on radio frequencies.

The EU and England are also rolling out their versions which are 100% compatible with our systems and vise versa. The Real ID will eventually be global. You will also not be able to use a bank account,travel,hold a job or make securities purchases without it. It will contain biometric data of you eyes and fingerprint. Mark of the Beast anyone?
