Ah, "Call 911 & ask for a supervisor"? Not w/ my dept. as that in no way would be considered an emergency call. You instead would call the local police non emergency line & absolutely do not call 911 asking for that number. Use the telephone directory or call 411!

An Oklahoma State Trooper pulled him over because he did not have a rear license plate. And I don't enjoy giving tickets, most of the time I can accomplish my goal with a warning.

I'm guessing you have had negative experiences with law enforcement because either you're an idiot who can't drive or stay out of trouble, or you encountered the 1 out of 100 cops that is kind of a dick. There are over 300,000 police officer in the US, and the media never misses the chance to make us all look bad for one officer's actions. Society would crumble without the police..

"Officer I have the proper permit" In Illinois you are under arrest. There is no proper permit for a concealed weapon and Illinois and Wisconsin do not honor other states permits.
